| Just noticed something. We've got the "Usergroups" button on the top menu which is currently inactive. Since we've got so many diverse opinions on film, Bond, politics, literature, sport etc. how about giving it a try? Could be fun. |

Yep, it's mildly creepy having an absentee landlord. I'd also like to see the forum reopened to the public. Just two hundred members is not enough to sustain this place. |

Agreed. I mean, who honestly wants to keep reading my shit? Plus maybe give some Mods some suspension/banning rights if he's not around, to control the masses if the flood gates are opened. 8) |

Of course you can do that. You just have to change the coding. This board has it: http://nomnomnomguild.forumotion.com/forum Naturally you can make links underlined, too, by changing the coding. On our board, URLs automatically underline, but normal text links don't. eg. Lolskates. (^That's a link.) Doesn't have to be that way. |

| M, if you're knocking about, any chance of changing the Casino Royale pic at the bottom of the front page and (can't believe I'm saying this, but...) replace it with something from SkyFail, just to keep us looking up-to-date? Cheers.
Dunno if the member floodgates need opening. IMO (and from past experiments here), it just puts people off logging in and thus makes them less likely to post. The membership is free, instant and cancellable here, so there's not really much to put people off from jumping in should they wish to. Maybe if the pre-film hype and ultimate release of SkyFall can tie in with some kind of greater means of exposure being granted this place, then I can see the doors being flung open, but as yet there doesn't seem to be either a queue nor anyone knocking to get in. I honestly think it brings out the best in our members by having them logged in, as opposed to the possibility of people just sat around browsing waiting for new members to emerge out of nowhere while the forums themselves have a dormant member count, something which will hardly encourage potential new members to bother registering.

Actually, I've been getting them for a while now too. And it's pissing me off. I had 147 new emails in my inbox last night. Lucky I've linked this to an account that I check less often than my other ones. M, can this be fixed? |

Lucky I've linked this to an account that I check less often than my other ones. M, can this be fixed? I'd suggest everybody go into "Preferences" in their profiles and check "No" in the first six circles. This really should stop people receiving any kind of unwanted e-mails/notifications. I've already done yours FieldsMan, while I was checking on the problem. If unwanted e-mails continue after everyone's followed these instructions, then we've obviously a deeper problem which I'll take up with Forumotion. Thanks for everyone's patience, I know I haven't been around as much as I'd have liked recently, but I do aim to rectify that, you have my word. Sincerely, M |

| Thanks Salomé. I've popped in quite a few times recently, perhaps without some people really noticing, but anyway it's great to see the forums sustaining themselves even when practically admin-free. Just goes to enforce my belief that we've a really trustworthy set of members here. |

Lolskates.Lolskates.Stick a bolding or colouring around the link word and the link word only. That will bold or colour a link as seen above. Or someone buy me a book on coding for Christmas. |

This page should help you out: http://help.forumotion.com/t42099-learning-the-basic-css Ctrl+find "the links on your forum" and you should find the right coding. You can monkey with that stuff, then paste it into whatever box is the right box in your admin controls. |

| Everybody appointed as a Moderator here has more than earned it, as have several other members I've yet to appoint. The kind of offensive posts occasionally being made by j7 and others need to be erased upon arrival before we end up losing members because of it. Hopefully we've a good enough mix of loyalty, common sense and influence among our Moderator team to be able to keep things in check. |

| Who is going to keep the mods in check?
I didn't appreciate my posts and threads being edited with different font and font sizes and images that I didn't use and post.
It's not right for the mods to do that!
I open one of my thread and the texts have been changed to Comic Sans and there are images inserted in it making fun of my post/thread. |

| j7wild: If you have any more problems with mods doing this, PM me with a link your edited posts. If you're going to get banned here, it should at least be for what you've posted, not someone else under your name. |
