Well, chaps, looks like today is my tenth anniversary on this forum. The old days of old MI6 are long behind us, they dogged the early years of this forum and well, we've done alright lately. I didn't think I'd be running the show or doing my bit but onwards and upwards. See if NTTD brings in more, keep it bubbling along either way for another ten years. Corona or not.

Thank you Blunty. Time has sped away from us me-fears. I seem to recall I joined old MI6 around 2007 I think. Thirteen whole years. Doesn't seem feasible.

Heh 10 years for me too. Where did the time go indeed. Well done to you Hilly and BI! IIRC the first year we were still between here and KTBEU (rarely here I might add), then when that place went tits up, we were able to find sanctuary at BAB to work out what happened to those boards.

I should have said well done to you too Fields. You're as instrumental in the direction we've gone as anyone.

NTTD or not, we press on. Rather this place than the Facebook-lite of nMI6 I think.

What I seem to recall going wrong at MI6 was idiots like CASINO ROYALE posting cretinous shit and (to bring up a personal experience) then when one mocked them for it, St 'Now now, we're all jolly chums here ha ha ha!' George swooping in to rap one across the knuckles for same .

Granted this place has had occasional problems along those lines *coughj7wildcough*. But that sort of thing's been ironed out now.

I remember CASINOROYALE's fan videos. Hilarious.

I remember poor Codename COBRA going OTT on any posts, going through a phase of saying "I redact my post" or "redact" that and this. SG after a while used anything to whore his blog (Tony Curtis dies, here's my blog). He tried getting faux-chummy in this PM to me once when I kicked off about something.

'Course it's the people I miss like Calbrit, Bong, Purple, even the likes of Luds and others. I know we've had bad press over there sometimes but we're a decent bunch here.

Funny thing is that CASINOROYALE finally got banned from MI6 last year. All it took was him making gay accusations on other members who had different opinions from his. It's sad, because while he was obviously just a child 10 years ago it seems like he never grew into an adult.

In fact a lot of heated discussions over NTTD finally put a ban on a lot of trolls on that site like dominoes.
