Hendricks and Bond (Visa Commercial)

Am I the last person to see this or something? Hendricks actually gets to be a "Bond girl" and it's for two split second shots as a tea girl in a Pierce Bronson ad?



And yet all we get for Bond girls now are bony models who can't act and who Bond doesn't even make it with.

Hendricks would be a great Bond Girl. At long last the series would see a pair of norks that could rival Lana Woods'.

Like QOS, it seems SF will let us down on that front.

I really wish she was better utilized. She was and is great on FIREFLY and MAD MEN but Hollywood seems content to ignore her or put her in supporting roles. She's almost forty now so its unlikely we'll ever see her get to do anything really big, and sad to say but she's getting past her glory days.

Hendricks would be a lot better than the two nobodies we're getting in SkiLodge. She is superior in every department - looks, acting, and box office appeal. Her age shouldn't be a problem seeing as the incumbent Bond looks like he's pushing 50. Draft her for Bond 24, I say.

Speaking of capitalising on Mad Men, I see Craig's Bond is donning (pun not intended) skinny ties and pocket squares, now how about more drinking and smoking and less PC bullshit. Cheers, Babs.

Hendricks can really play both sides of the Bond girl coin, too. She does demure and innocent just as well as fiesty femme fatale. She could be Moneypenny and Fiona Volpe in the same movie!
