Adele’s Skyfall Bond Theme Played in HMV Today

A close friend of my website has heard the new Skyfall Bond song played in HMV Guildford this morning, performed by Adele.

After speaking to him this evening, he insists it was Adele’s voice he heard on the track, which sounded very much like a Bond tune, with the words `Skyfall’ in the chorus. A worker at HMV Guildford is obviously close friends with someone at Abbey Road studios, who must have had a bootleg copy.

A (highly reputable) Cb.n member has said he's had a conversation with the guy who said he heard it via Twitter. Apparently the HMV customer is a TV director.

This is what he reported.

He texted me this morning as soon as he heard it. He caught about 1 minute before it was switched off.

Well, if it's "grown-up," the tune immediately vaults far beyond AWTD.

That's one way of putting it, given that the opening riff sounds like Jack White made his guitar fart.
