I bring this up because it looks as if Jay Leno is being shown the door by autumn of 2014. Reportedly, he'll be be replaced with Jimmy Fallon and the show will move from Burbank to New York.

Unless they try giving him an earlier timeslot, they'll probably want to just let go of him for good if they truly want to move on. I don't care much for Fallon, but he seems to have gotten more comfortable over the years and he does have a good band.
Too bad that whole thing with Conan happened, but at least he's happy at TBS.

Problem here is that I don't really see Fallon doing much better with the 11:30 crowd than Conan. But I guess Kimmel is doing well in his new timeslot, so who knows.

He might do okay, NBC will just have to accept that Leno's audience will die off pretty soon anyway.

True, but Fallon will still be up against Jon Stewart, Kimmel and Conan. Sounds rough.

Congratulations to NBC for getting a Tonight Show host who is actually worse than Jay Leno. I can't stand Fallon. I've seen his show, and it's more like a game show for fratboys.
Craig Ferguson all the way, I think he's the best from the network late night shows. He's real, he's relaxed, there's no bullshit or pretense. He just goes out and is funny. Letterman is an old pro, but he doesn't even try anymore.
Craig is also the best interviewer on the networks.
