Once upon a time, it was fine. But he does it so often and so frequently and to such an extreme that I think he's quite serious.

Filming is now on Morocco, but here's a few things that I have picked up in recent days:
Spoiler:
There is a massive set being built at Pinewood, which is believed to be a replica of Westminster Bridge and interiors for the Vauxhall Cross building. Speculation suggests that a helicopter could crash into the bridge.
There are also rumours of a massive set being built somewhere in the Moroccan desert, but it's hard to get anything concrete as it's isolated and people are being kept away - it has been suggested that SPECTRE will have a compound somewhere in the desert, so we could get Bond leading an assault team in.

....."to such an extreme" ?????
ROTFLMAO! Judging by your reaction, a person would be forgiven for thinking I'd just committed genocide of biblical proportions.
It could not have been more obvious that I was having a laugh w/EON...having a go, winding them up, or taking the piss out of them (for non-Brits here, those expressions basically mean 'to have fun or play a joke'). I was also making fun of myself; mercilessly mocking the type of Internet personality who not only hyperventilates about their favorite franchise character, but doesn't take the time to get the facts (the article made it clear it was Craig's stunt double wearing a Daniel Craig mask).
Before removing the splinter out of my eye, maybe you should get the stick out of your arse (for non-Brits "arse" means "butt", "ass" or "buttocks").

Pretty much thought that was your intent. It's dripping in satire.
If you wanna see Bond fans take it "to such an extreme", you'll never find a better place than DCINB.

I thought the whole 'Oh my God! His face has had so much work that it doesn't even look like Daniel Craig anymore' would be a huuuuge spoiler alert for anybody that thought I was being serious, because: DUH! It's not Daniel Craig, which is exactly why it doesn't look like him. Apparently some people need an adult to cut their comedy with a fork into little bites, then make helicopter noises and motions with the fork as they spoon feed them their information.

The problem with parody is that you need someone or something to parody. When you don't have it - or assume that your audience knows who you are parodying - you wind up in this situation where people don't know what you're talking about and so the humour is lost.

I get it. Not being British, you sometimes find our humor....difficult to follow.

Kate Upton, a frankly fabulous example of womanhood.
A 'close-up' version of that is currently my laptop wallpaper.

Saw the new Mission: Impossible film, Rogue Nation tonight. It's surprisingly similar to Craig's Bond film:
Spoiler:
- Ethan Hunt attends the opera, where he has to thwart an assassination timed to co-incide with the high point of the opera. The plot of the opera mirrors parts of the story. - The villain is "the Syndicate", a multi-national criminal enterprise that may or may not have infiltrated the government and intelligence agencies (admittedly, this is lifted from the original series' mythology, but the similarities to SPECTRE remain; the Syndicate was even created for similar reasons as an apolitical nemesis). - The Syndicate is overseen by a megalomaniac who sells his services to the highest bidder. - There is a giant blond henchman. - There is a political sub-plot with someone trying to shut the IMF down.

Given that the show was created during 60s Bondmania, it's not surprising that they may share similarities with Bond.

True, but things like the blond-haired villain who is impervious to pain are harder to find in the source material.
