I've always loved the LALD score. Sir George was an innovative composer, arranger and producer and the Beatles were fortunate to have had him.

Sad news. His Bond score had a lot of great themes, including Solitaire's theme. Overall, a unique and re-playable album.

Yes, I think Bond Meets Solitaire is my favourite track of the LALD score (though the use of the LALD instrumental in "Boat Chase" is a favourite). Sad news and McCartney's tribute incredibly moving.

Agree with all this, though I haven't read McCartney's tribute yet.
