The alphabet community is going crazy because of his marrying of sexual predation and homosexuality, which is understandable. 

If guilty, I guess jail time wouldn't be punishment for him.

Compared to the Weinstein scandal, it's getting no where near as much media attention. I assume that's a lot to do with the amount of Weinstein's victims. Though Ambler is right in the media fishing out what suits their narrative. Their twisting of Woody Allen's words received more attention than Spacey's story has. 

As it stands now, it just seems more like a bunch of Spacey fans victimising themselves on twitter about how they can't watch The Usual Suspects anymore.

Weinstein is now a month-long scandal with new accusers being added seemingly every day.
If the same trend should occur with Kevin Spacey, I'm sure the media attention will balloon accordingly.

Absolutely. The initial report of Weinstein, however, exploded onto social media platforms. This hasn't.

So that is two of the three guys most rumored about prior who are now facing public accusations.
The third is a certain blockbuster director who has devoted most of the past decade to big robots.

If that was the only story out there, he wouldn't exactly be worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as the other two.
That would barely register at all.

Dustin Hoffman's another one, supposedly for an incident back in '85. Dustin Hoffman groped her and "talked about sex to me and in front of me". So we can't talk about sex in front of women anymore? What is this? The groping I can understand but talking about sex? Maybe he was reciting lines. Hasn't she watched a M rated movie before?

Not really. I am only saying that he was one of the others about which many rumours existed, so much so that occasionally even someone not in the know would get a glimpse of them.
Whether or not this means that he too conforms to the "where there is smoke, there is fire" idiom is another matter entirely.
