| It's the one that established the 'Bond Formula' and has many an iconic moment but I seem to recall Khanners saying before now that he reckons that GF is less than the sum of its parts.
And yes, Sarai ... have seen a few saying that they think Bond spends too long locked-up during the second half. |

I thought it was obvious.
why is GF so low? I know some find the second half boring. I've had it lower in the past, actually. The "Hoods' Convention" is pretty naff, and I'm not wild about Pussy Galore--the character, anyway. But I probably underrate GF. I'm always willing to listen to reasons why I should mark it higher. |

| All those early movies rank really high for me because of Connery. The golf scene for example in GF, have another Bond play that and I probably wouldn't find it all that great. As far as Pussy Galore goes I can see your point on that and admit I have to force myself to like her as well. The idea of a lesbian character named Pussy ...well what's not to love but the execution isn't all that great and I'm not sure if it isn't just the actress for me. right or wrong I see the sexual subtext all through GF too which helps put it in my top 5 |

| 22. YOLT
another one in my top 10 due to Connery so I guess I just really am swayed by the actor as much as anything
It may well be his weakest but I still rank it well above the best Brosnan films |

It may well be his weakest but I still rank it well above the best Brosnan films My main beef with YOLT is that, in it, Bond is actually the third coolest guy behind Dikko Henderson and Tiger Tanaka. And that's on Seanery. He totally phones it in, IMO. |

For me, it's the actress. There's just something about Blackmon. |

| In the full-length shots of her from the back in that scene, it's a body-double. |

If only that were true for TND. And the opposite for CR. Not being a fan of Honor's pussy (and her character) is a huge surprise. So much presence and charm. |

| I find really difficult to rank the whole series together these days. The only ones that have remained consistent are my top five and bottom five, anything between really depends on my mood. But Gravy's method is much more straightforwardly easy.
Connery:
From Russia with Love Goldfinger Dr. No Thunderball Diamonds Are Forever You Only Live Twice
Moore:
Moonraker For Your Eyes Only Octopussy The Spy Who Loved Me Live and Let Die A View to a Kill The Man with the Golden Gun
Dalton:
The Living Daylights Licence to Kill
Brosnan:
GoldenEye Die Another Day Tomorrow Never Dies The World is Not Enough
Craig:
Skyfall Casino Royale Spectre Quantum of Solace |

But seriously, everybody knows it. You're probably right, and we all know how I feel about the era. BUT from the stuff we've seen, at least there's a sense of local colour and maybe a sense of bizarre that is sorely missing from CR06. As for me with Grav's method (though I feel you don't get a sense of how they all relate to each other): Connery
From Russia With Love Thunderball Dr. No Goldfinger You Only Live Twice Diamonds Are Forever MooreFor Your Eyes Only A View to a Kill Octopussy The Spy Who Loved Me Moonraker The Man With The Golden Gun Live and Let Die DaltonThe Living Daylights Licence to Kill Brosnan Tomorrow Never Dies Goldeneye The World Is Not Enough Die Another Day CraigSkyfall. Quantum of Solace Spectre Casino Royale |

| I like this idea
SC: FRWL DN TB GF DAF YOLT
RM: LALD TMWTGG TSWLM MR AVTAK FYEO OP
TD: TLD LTK
PB: GE TND TWINE DAD
I could try and rank all the 007s in CR 67 but that would take ages. However it made me realize even the 007 seal in CR 67 is better than what we have now.

| Order of release for Connery, Sarai. One could easily make a case for that. |

Absolutely. Broz started out like gangbusters and deteriorated precipitously. |
