| I'm sure there must be many moments where you have had to hit rewind to get another look, tell us about them here or better still show us. Here is the hover broom in QOS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYGmcTVfSzg |

| In Fleming's books and from FRWL-DAF/FYEO, Bond and Blofeld aren't related. However in SP... |

| The GF nuke counter getting stopped at '007' wasn't a goof but it must've been a last-minute addition, as the following dialogue refers to 'Three more clicks ... '. |

| In Octopussy Bond dresses in a gorilla suit to hide from that turban bloke, his disguise is discovered and turban bloke cuts the head off the gorilla, in the same shot Bond is climbing through the roof of the train. Now then has Bond suddenly turned into David copperfield because to climb out of said gorilla suit and hang it back up would take longer than half a second....don'tcha think? |

Yes. It was a last minute Harry Saltzman idea and for years many myself included wondered when it was added. However after seeing the 003 version appear in some rare 16mm and doing more research I'm pretty positive all original late 1964 UK release prints had the 003 timer but the switch was made by the time new prints and the USA release happened and thus the 007 timer became the worldwide and historic standard. If you ever see a print with the 003 timer then you're very lucky as it either was made by accident or you're seeing an original first run 1964 UK release print! |

This one took me quite a while to figure out in my head. Firstly the suit is on some sort of standing rack and Bond merely climbs in it. The suit entry must be in the back and it's all one piece so 007 would've had to have slipped down and out the back to sneak over to the hatch. Then the suit is placed in camera foreground to mask Bond climbing up to the hatch-thus only revealing how he gets out of there when the head is chopped off. |

Thanks for that ... as far as I recall, only ever seen the '007' version. |

| "Auric Enterprises" can be seen written on the side of Goldfinger's jet, near the cockpit, when it's on the ground. Yet, in the previous scenes where it is airborne, there are no letters on the side of the plane at all! |

Thanks for that ... as far as I recall, only ever seen the '007' version. So has virtually everyone else unless you saw it right at the UK premiere dates. I had begun to think it was an urban legend until a section of a 16mm print turned up on ebay where the seller posted a picture of the 003 timer. i wanted to buy it but the asking price was far too high. This discovery made me really start to dig around and put thing together to come up with it being done in between the first UK prints and the rest of the run. |

| Tricky for me to have caught one of those '64 originals, what with not being born until '71 . |

| Yep same here. Born long afterwards. Until I saw the ebay post I thought it never was shown. Later on I found a page on a film collector's forum where prints were discussed and those with the 003 timer were UK prints with date manufacturing codes of December 1964 and that's how I pieced it together. The US release happened in 1965 which was long enough for 007 to become the standard. |

| Goldfinger: When Bond steps out onto the sun deck behind Jill Masterson, he reaches down and turns off the transmitter that is in front of Jill. But when she turns around and says "Who are you?" Bond is only just walking out onto the deck. |

| Also in Goldfinger, the drink bottles in the fridge differ from the shot of Bond being knocked out, to when he comes to. |

| Thunderball....Bond enters the room with Lippee in the steam box. On the door, it says "Massage". When he leaves, it says, "Sitz Bath & Heat Treatment. |

| When Kerim Bey takes a bullet during the FRWL gypsy camp battle, Pedro Armendariz fairly noticeably breaks a blood capsule against his arm to represent the wound.
During the Thunderball underwater battle, Bond's mask is sometimes blue and sometimes black.
As Goldfinger's Rolls Royce drives away from Bond at the golf club, he no longer appears to be sitting in the back of it.

Must watch out for those! |

| There's tons, TONS of continuity flubs in TB. It I think shows off the rush to get the edit done or someone just had a really off day. The blue mask to black mask back to blue is a big one that leaps out at you every time. |

| Thunderball Bond goes to swallow the homing pill. As he lowers his hand from his mouth, you can still see the white pill in his hand. Then he motions that he's swallows it. |
