Isaacs - Craig is the perfect Bond

Jason Isaacs has revealed he wouldn't want to steal the Bond crown from Daniel Craig.
The Liverpool-born actor, who reprises his role as villain Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - Part 2, said he won't be fighting Daniel for the coveted spy gig.

"No, Dan is Bond - Daniel is one of the sexiest men!" he told ITV's Daybreak.

"The thing about Dan is women all obviously want to sleep with him and men all think he's having more relationships with women than they are - and they're right!"

Jason also revealed that Daniel is "very happy" following his marriage to Rachel Weisz.

"He's married and very happy but he just exudes sex," the 48-year-old added.

"He's the perfect Bond."

Oh well, at least he implies he knows he could've played the part. Looks like a cross between Dalton and Craig to me - just about perfect, really.

So, to summarise: Daniel Craig = SEX.

Anyway, I reckon Isaacs would've made a good Bond in the 90's.

Guy has a major man crush on Craig.

But yes, he would have been the ideal Bond after Dalton in 1995.

We had the perfect 90's Bond. His name was Pierce Brosnan. No need to have Dalton, Isaacs and then Craig in the role. The mere thought of such a timeline sends a shiver down my spine. Having Craig is bad enough.

Can't agree. He was a lightweight.

I wonder if he was ever seriously considered for Bond. When I read the novels, my mental image of Bond is a cross of Connery, Dalton, John Hamm, and Jason Isaacs.

He's got it bad for him

I have to admit I do like Craig as Bond. He's the most credible of the 4 "deficient Bonds" ahead of Dalton Brozz and Rog.
But I still never would have cast him - too short - too blonde - and too craggy face.
Despite not having the right look though, he does play the part quite well.
Next time though we get the right look too. (stomps foot)
