Adele to record new Bond theme

If Adele truly is doing the theme, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Worse comes to worse, at least the vocals themselves will be strong. Shame on whomever messes it up, if it is indeed a floundered opportunity.

I pegged Alicia Keys as a bad choice immediately (I can't stand her singing)... and she didn't disappoint.

Adele has only cancelled her 2011 tour dates. She obviously expects to be back in business come the new year. With BOND 23 being released a year from now, that gives her plenty of time to record a theme. Especially if she put off surgery to record the demo tape and submit it.

I might be in the minority here but I don't like this song at all. I usually love adult contemporary, but not this. Wonder what ever happened to Dido, thought she would be perfect around the time No Angel came out.

I like the verse, but the shouty Whitney Houston chorus is pretty grating.
