| I guess that's life.
I think we are finally realizing that they were more after making a successful site and getting web traffic than caring about the most important thing: its own members.
I think we have finally started to figure it out and pick up the pieces. I say we start to channel this into some positive energy.
Let's forget about MI6. I say we start building this community. Figure out what course we should take. Which way to go. Will members be invited only by invite? Or can anyone join? Age limit?
Perhaps the head guy on the site, whoever it is can answer these questions. I'm not sure who exactly runs the place. Perhaps some sort of discussion can be launched to discuss the course. |

That NickNack was the tiny NickNack, not the mod Nick. |

| Sad thing is though... most of us will still get Bond news from their site so their traffic won't go down much. |

That NickNack was the tiny NickNack, not the mod Nick. I was pretty floored at first, I didn't know what to make of it. Glad it wasn't the case. |

Well... The only Bond "news" I care about pertains to the films. And any significant developments regarding them is usually going to be on Deadline or some other entertainment biz website. I never really went to the MI6 site at all. Most of it was just quoted from other sites and interviews and stuff. Also... I know we've got GL now, under the alias of Drax... has Hunterharry come on board yet? It'd be a shame to not have him with us as well. |

| I was at first too... then I realised it was just another original member coming back to mark the territory... likes saying... You don't matter as much as you think you do. *I* don't remember you so what makes you think anyone cares?
It was poor form to bring back the old guys to spew on the members who were voiced displeasure.
Yea, I got all my news from the forum... So I can do the same here. |

Wonder if that will get them all in a hissy fit. |

| Yeah, it is pretty sad. I won't lie though. At first I was upset. If this community works as well as it is in its first day I will be very pleased. I really love the site, the people, and the tone. Much better than what I'm seeing at the new community. |

This is already much better than what we had at the old site for the last year or so... Still pissed about the archives but having a new discussion board that is filled with adults is refreshing. |

Still pissed about the archives but having a new discussion board that is filled with adults is refreshing. Indeed. It does suck, but I get the feeling this will make up for that. With many solid members around here this place is bound to have consistent quality posts. :) |

It appears not. A few "lucky" people got about a five minute window late last night within which to trek through about 68 million posts and find their most beloved posts somehow. I love this whole "REFUGEES" thing. Perfectly sums the whole thing up in one word. It would make a brilliant site name, just until the current climate of "The Discarded" has passed. |

I'm not trying to steal members from here or anything. But in light of what has happened to the members of Mi6 it's worth a look. I've found the members to be friendly and easy to discuss with. At least adult discussion. Especially since some of the rotten apples were expelled in recent times.

Yeah, I only managed to find one of my DMS pieces - I couldn't find my actual fanfic thread with my random pieces in it. It was late, I had homework and thought - I can do it tomorrow when I get back from school ... but no, its all gone. They could've tried to hold on for it for at least 24 hours. :x |

I've been a member there since its launch, though I haven't been consistently visiting as much. But I'm certainly bitching about MI6. Jet Set Willy used to be a frequent member too. Benny got banned. |

| I'm banned from there, as well. I'm pretty sure it was over a fairly innocuous comment, but it's been a couple years.
But even then, it's not a terrible place. Surprisingly, a lot of the members, as much as I disagree with their stance on Craig, are pretty rational. |

| I doubt him posting nothing but thumbnail pics of factory produced models would have really flew around these parts. Heck, I don't think he would have gotten the same slack here that MI6 gave him. |
