Here's Muse's theme song or whatever for the Olympics.

A folk song about a cattle thief shouldn't sound like some douchey R&B shyte.

Very messy. Listening to their music would give me a headache.

No, it houldn't - but NBN have no idea what the concept of restraint is. They see a folk song that is deeply enmeshed in our national consciousness. They see two talentless hacks who became famous for winning glorified talent competitions. They combine two and two together, and then overproduce the shit out of it.
That said, it is fairly consistent with our coverage of the Games. Our commentators get so excited that it wouldn't surprise me if they mute the microphones while they search for a tissue to clean up.
Best wishes to everyone in London for some great games.
We (Atlanta) went through this back in 1996, and a lot of the self-doubts, criticisms, accusations of corruption, political grifters looking for a quick handout, activists with agendas to promote, etc......all of it comes out of the woodwork at some point whether you're in Sydney, Athens, Atlanta, Vancouver or whatnot. I'm sure London will do fine, and then we can all turn our energies and attention to criticizing Rio De Janeiro and wondering whether it's up to the task of hosting the 2016 games.

Does anyone else find the Olympics to be about as interesting as watching paint dry at the DMV? If a hell exists, and is tailored to each person sent there, mine will be non-stop Olympics for eternity.
I can't stress enough how uninterested I am in the Olympics.
