FYI, Maggie Gyllenhaal ran around doing promotion for THE DARK KNIGHT saying she'd love to come back to a sequel. Those kind of comments mean nothing, just as you can't really trust Marion Cotillard's continued insistence that she's not Talia al Ghul.

That said, I'm pretty sure Batman doesn't die in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.

Maybe he dies and then rises from the dead.

A resurrection metaphor with a man dressed as a giant bat ... Middle America would LOVE that .

Yeah, all of these banners are pretty pathetic.

With the money they make off of these films, you'd think they'd do better. Although, I'm sure some people, like those at Empire Online's forum, are whacking off to the banners.

Only about 10 minutes longer than TDK.

And I thought that was a little too long.

It'll be interesting to see how this film pans out. Nolan's marketing team has been successful, once again, because you can't visit any corner of the Internet without reading comments from some fans who are creaming in their pants over the latest TDKR trailer.

We'll see if these films stand the test of time. For BATMAN BEGINS, already it's not looking good.

I like them for the story they tell if not for how it's told. I'm not big on Nolan's style of filmmaking. Can't quite explain. Just leaves me cold. I don't see what is so "great" about him, I just see him making some films that are very popular.

I feel the same way.

I thought TDK was a solid film, but thought BB was trash. Same with THE PRESTIGE and INCEPTION.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nolan goes above and beyond with this one, for his last hurrah. The only aspect bothering me about this new film is Anne Hathaway. She's not a very good actress, honestly.
