| To me, MI6 dropping that motto was a major indication that the old place was gone for good. That was one of their long standing banners and they drop it for a generic looking banner, heck it might as well not even be designated as a banner.
So yeah, might as well let someone carry that motto after MI6 abandoned it. |

I thought all the cool kids were over here. Quite frankly I'm surprised his post was actually semi-comprehensible and he seems to have restrained himself only using single smiley. Besides that, MI6Communists DESERVES him. I'm sure he's not interested in our forum, at MI6 he can strut around carrying the 'hey, I've been here for six years, n00bs" card. |

| Shit, I just had a 20-odd paragraph post removed within seconds of posting it over at MI6. Nobody could have even read it in that time. A few comments in the feedback and suggestions thread, in which everyone else is allowed to have their say.
Didn't insult anyone either. Bastards. |

| What, they're still upset about this place? : I got over MI6 awhile ago, I haven't even logged in since March. However I am tempted to find those witty conversations between Sharky and Moore with their elitist persona. That was damn hilarious. |

| Why are any of y'all still posting over there when this site's available? I mean, you're free to do entirely as you please, but I don't really see the point. |

I agree. However, until a person's decision is made for them, it can be easy to simply go with what's familiar and reliable. I had signed up here months before I was banned by Jim, but only posted about 20 times. Once I was banned it simplified things and I concentrated my time here. I don't even look at CBn anymore and have deleted all links to it in my bookmarks. But I do understand why some who were on the bubble with CBn continue to post there. It's like a woman who continues to go back to her boyfriend, even though he physically abuses her, cheats on her, and emotionally and verbally berates her: it's what's familiar. We have several members here who hate and despise CBn and have very nearly been banned themselves (and have already been suspended) but continue to go back to CBn and post. Sometimes old habits are hard to break. |

We have several members here who hate and despise CBn and have very nearly been banned themselves (and have already been suspended) but continue to go back to CBn and post. Sometimes old habits are hard to break. I have to agree with Gravity, Perilagu and Makeshift that it's just not worth it anymore, Laz. You'll just end up hating the place, if you don't already. It's not worth it. And it would seem they're unwilling to listen to anything you have to say anyway, so you'll probably just get Gravity's "abuse" scenario every time you post there, albeit in the form of them either deleting your posts or banning you to vent their spleen at the simple fact that you use other forums as well as theirs. When a ship is sinking, it's simply best to have not boarded the ship, rather than get into a scrap with people who are pissed off at the lack of lifeboats. |

| Been given a second warning for my deleted post, referred to by MI6 as a "rant", which was actually just a few paragraphs of observations and suggestions in a thread actually titled "Feedback and Suggestions". FFS, if the two posts I've been warned for are deemed warning-worthy, then God help the place.
MOD EDIT: You know better.
I do now. I agree, this just ain't worth it.

It's like a woman who continues to go back to her boyfriend, even though he physically abuses her, cheats on her, and emotionally and verbally berates her: it's what's familiar. A flattering simile. :) |

Followed to its logical conclusion, being made love to must make her feel awful. |
