From the official 007 Facebook page:

Quote :
The UK's Royal Mail are marking the 50th anniversary of the James Bond series with a very special limited edition commemorative sheet, featuring ten iconic Bond movie poster labels alongside ten, first class, Union Flag postage stamps. With 22 movies to choose from however, the task of deciding exactly which of the iconic Bond images will make it into the pack is fiendishly difficult. Which is where you come in because the final posters will be chosen not by Royal Mail, but by you, Bond’s most loyal fans.

So head over and vote, now!

This should be a very successful commemorative stamps release...

7 of my picks are currently in the Top 10.

Seems like everyone's jizzing over the unimpressive GOLDENEYE poster. No surprise there.

Considering that it was Brozzayawn's BEST movie from his foursome, and the one that bought the franchise back, and that he was the 90s Bond, it's why I picked it.....

I'm finding it hard to disagree with you Doggers, with your great tits and all, but we're ranking the posters here - not the films. ;)

I know, but I think many voters would be associating films with posters as well :bom:

It seems most people would vote for it for 2 reasons:

1. They played the video game, and blindly love the movie for no reason as well as the game.
2. They saw the movie as a kid, and love it on terms of nostalgia and nothing more.

14.02% of the voters have no taste.

Minus the CR and the GE poster though they at least seem to be voting decently.

6 of my choices in the top 10, LTK gamely bringing up the rear. Craig posters, nor indeed the Brosnan's do much for me. GE has a flash of style but my main choices seemed to be astonishingly pro-Connery.

Likewise the Connery/Moore posters have so much more style than what comes later, though I did vote for GE and LTK as a contrast.

It's difficult to believe anyone votes for the Casino Royal poster on its merits as a poster, it is quite deformed and ugly without any sense of style to redeem it imo.....QoS is by far the better of the two and its not really anything to write home over.

MInd its the modern style for you - look to the two woman in black posters, one a close up of Dan Radcliffe's stubbly face the other a poster that actually conveys something about the movie in the old Hammer tradition - no contest imo the old style wins every time! Bland as hell and Bond looks like he can't even be arsed to do up his bowtie. The slob.

I'm guessing it's only doing so well because CR is the most recent Bond film to recieve an overwhelmingly positive reception. .

I don't know why anyone would vote for the Licence To Kill one sheet, it's terrible.

I think TWINE is the best of the Brosnan ones. Glad to see TLD poster at number 3.

My selected ten:

DN
FRWL
GF
TB
YOLT
OHMSS
DAF

Yeah, I selected these automatically because it's 60s and Connery.

After them it's FYEO (for the legs), AVTAK (for that black dude), TLD (it's probably THE best Bond poster IMO).

Agreed about he CR poster. Well, at least GE seems to be dropping, that one's terrible for the Brosnan photoshop job, the NA poster is much better.

NA poster: http://www.impawards.com/1995/goldeneye_ver2.html

International: http://www.impawards.com/1995/goldeneye_ver3.html

Only thing that sucks on both is the photoshop job on Izabella Scorupco. Seriously, that does not even look like her.

I really do not get that. And I thought LTK was for the most part mixed among fans, unless everyone is just voting for it because the poster is that good? laugh Christ.

Still, at least FYEO and TLD are topping the whole list. If Connery can't make it in the top 10, at least either those two are looking to take the top.

I didn't think my vote for LTK was that instrumental. My God, Bones what have I done?

Surprising no Connery's made it in. Thought at least Dr No would.

The top 10 seem very fluid. LTK getting in would have to be some epic form of trolling.
