I think it's effective. It's simple, and much easier on the eye, than say, TSWLM's which is too cluttered. It was a choice between QOS and TMWTGG, and I thought I'd give QOS the edge, given that I'd prefer that to be Craig's stamp, not CR's.

The QOS design may be simple, but it's also ugly to look at. The colours are what I'd call metallic dog poo.

I can't say that I like all of the Moore-era posters... some of them are indeed too cluttered, but at least you can tell the poster artists put in a lot of time. The QOS poster was probably done in 5 minutes on photoshop, following $1 million spent on groupthink sessions.

I don't think it's ugly. The "metallic dog poo" title can be designated to Goldfinger's poster.

Admittedly though, the QOS poster does look better with the blue sky:

Agreed that it looks better with the blue sky, but there's still that ugly Photoshop diffuse glow in the horizon. Makes me want to throw up.
