Who should direct Bond 24 (and beyond)?

Guess Ritchie may be moving on to something other than BOND 24. His loss. The Man From U.N.C.L.E w/Tom Cruise sounds like an awful, awful idea.

Already being in one franchise based on a 60s spy show mustn't be enough for Cruise.

William Hill are able to report that Marc Foster has jumped ahead of Guy Richie in the betting for whom will be named Director of the next Bond Film.

Marc previously director Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace and is the 4/1 favourite with Guy Richie 5/1, alongside Martin Campbell. Perhaps not surprisingly Quentin Tarantino is friendless at 33/1.

“Guy Ritchie has perhaps got too many projects on the go to take on Bond, but surly not many would give up the opportunity,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

He and Haggis did a damn good job of destroying Bond that's for sure.

What about Tomas Alfredson? Only seen Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Let the Right One In, but both struck me as very visual films. James Bond benefits from that: he's not the most talkative or demonstrative of characters.
