Daniel Craig's Rail Stunt

Daniel Craig performed a few of his own stunts on the set of Skyfall this week, when he jumped off a moving container then hauled himself back on with only a couple of knee pads to protect him.

But a stunt double was on hand in Adana, Turkey, to take over when things got more serious, as we can see from the photos below.

As has been pointed out elsewhere, the photos clearly show a safety line anchored to the top edge of the container.

But he's still performing his own stunts though (with the benefit of safety enhancements).

I'm just saying, it was misreported that he was only using knee pads. It seems that the tabloids are behind this story, but I have no idea why that might be since the tabloids are usually constructive. Suggesting that Craig only used knee pads makes him out to be tougher (for want of a better word) than he otherwise might be, whereas the usual tabloid fare would have him needing a stunt double to do it and not wanting to watch on while the stunt took place.
