I'm basically a guitar/bass/drums rock fan but I do have a side interest in pop tarts prancing about in sexed up videos. Kylie is #1 in that category and her songs are real catchy too. And she's a lot fresher, bouncier and more likeable than the Material Ho.

Remember when everyone was revved up over the prospect of Muse doing the theme for QUANTUM OF SOLACE and then Matthew Bellamy went batshit crazy and authorised Supermassive Black Hole to appear in TWILIGHT and then released The Resistance?

Well, maybe Muse could do the SKYFALL theme. They have a new album, The 2nd Law, due for release a month before SKYFALL, and the trailer for the album contains elements of dubstep, as does the SKYFALL trailer. Is this just a massive coincidence, or am I becoming sucked into one of Bellamy's conspiracy theories, the kind that made The Resistance suck?

The Muse of six or seven years ago, maybe. The Muse of today? No thanks.

As much as I love Dame Shirley, Adele probably has it in the bag, and she's a good "now" choice. Just hope she gets a good Bond-proper song to belt out.
