Statham and De Palma's an interesting combination. Looking forward to it.

I'm on board. Nice to see De Palma doing stuff again. Even if he doesn't make another true classic, it's a fair bet he'll make interesting and worthwhile films.

They'll have to call it something other than HEAT, though.

I'm thinking of creating another De Palma fan site, taking off from where DE PALMA A LA MOD is right now.

That site is in dire need of a makeover, too. I think they're still using icons from the late 90s.

Perhaps original reviews, a collection of photos and interviews, and news about De Palma's upcoming work would be interesting to take on. I want to model it based on BernardHerrmann.org. It'd be nice getting access to people who have worked with him too, if it gains enough momentum.

We'll see where this goes. I've got to look into acquiring a server and a domain name.

Like I said, I'll let you know when I've got something going. It'll probably be in June or so.

I've got to start making a list of what I can feature, gathering online videos of De Palma, digging up old interviews, etc. Someone needs to pay proper tribute to the man.

I was watching RAISING CAIN in the theatrical cut. It just doesn't work as well for me. I loved the re-cut from Indiewire.
