I like it, and will be getting it....curious to see the deleted scenes if they're included.

But I'm not holding my breath. Deleted scenes were promised for the QUANTUM OF SOLACE DVD release, but were ultimately cut out, which I was bitterly diasppointed about.

As expect released by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and both as it look like on this moment going to be a 1 disc. At this moment no release date yet and extra's can change. A bit strange there going to be Soundtrack promotional spot on it, whyle there never show a spot for that on tv. Also as with Casino Royale happend too, no trailers of the movie.

Whyle earlier i expect the Dvd wil get poster art of poster 2 (Bond on the floor) the BD wil get that and art of the dvd wil get art of poster 3 (Bond in Blue Tux).

To me it look like we get one making off documentry in 14 parts. The way it be done now it be easy for them to at later a bonus disc and making a 2 disc. No sign of a booklet, the Everthing or Nothing documentry, the presconference, trailers of the movie and tv spots.

SKYFALL will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on 18 February, at least in Britain.

Watching the series finale of HOMELAND just now, I saw a commercial for SKYFALL's DVD and Blu-ray release, announcing that it's now available for pre-order for 18 February. It was the first time I've ever seen an ad for a film's DVD/Blu-ray release almost two months in advance.

They don't make those anymore, mainly because those TVs are no longer made.

What do you mean, "those TVs"? My Samsung was manufactured in 2009 and accommodates Full Screen DVDs perfectly.

I was referring to the 4:3 ratio TVs that companies used to make before they switched entirely to 16:9 widescreen. Fullscreen DVDs were made for 4:3, the latter is no longer made therefore neither are full screen DVDs.

Why not just get an HD-Wide-Flatscreen television? The picture will be completely full, you won't have any of those "pesky" black bars at the top and bottom of your screen, and you won't actually miss any of the footage. I personally can't stand "full-screen" movies. Knowing that I was missing up to 50% of the shot annoyed me. Thankfully I have a big screen, wide, HD flat to cure all that. The picture fills the screen even in "wide screen" format.

The aspect ratios of some films still leave black bars.

I wish they'd include the entire London premiere as a bonus feature.

It's not worth it, honestly. I'd rather they include something like an isolated score. The only Bond that's got it is TOMORRO NEVER fucking DIES.
