Far Cry 4
It's got a nice, big open world to explore, even if some of the side-quests get repetitive towards the end of the game.
The real brilliance of it, however, is the ending:

The game manipulates you into becoming the villain. The only way to get the "good" ending is to not actually play at all.

Currently enjoying Alien : Isolation. Brilliantly tense and unsettling atmosphere.

I was an ace with the 1997 GoldenEye game. That's the last one I sat down and invested in seriously and played voraciously after leaving behind my Mortal Kombat fan-time. Incidentally, Raiden (Mortal Kombat) is the James Bond of that franchise. Check it out to see yourself.
Anyone see that new bank robbery video-game?

finally got around to master mode of Breathe of the Wild and while fun to play again they didn't really raise the difficulty level which was disappointing and bring back the dungeons!
the rest are really old, Chrono Trigger, FF8 and FF9
