| Given all the love on this site for SKYFALL, I was wondering how many people here believe it to be one of the very best Bond films not just of the past few years but *drumroll* of all time - top three, let's say.
And would anyone here put it right at the very top, at number one?

| Which other films are in your top five?
As for me, I'm not sure that SKYFALL would even be in my top fifteen, but I'm curious as to how many people here on B&B rate it as the very best of the whole bunch or almost the very best. |

Currently - THUNDERBALL, DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, DR. NO and GOLDENEYE. Would you like me to complete a Rorschach test? |

| I don't know about top three, but it's certainly inside my top five, and my top five tends to change quite frequently amongst themselves. |

| I currently rate it No. 3 behind OHMSS and GE. |

| It's in my top 3 Craig films at #2 but not top 3 overall...those would probably include 2 Moore films and one of Dalton's.

| I currently rate it at #3, behind GF and FRWL. |

| It's comparable to the classics, in my opinion. SKYFALL, to me, is the first true 21st century Bond film. To hell with Brosnan's late flicks and Craig's first two. SKYFALL got things right, and I hope the Bond team build on that.
I'd place it somewhere in my top 5. |

| I'd place it comfortably in the top three and only behind Russia and Majesty's. Maybe a Bondathon in a few years will force Skyfall below Dr. No or Thunderball in my rankings. |

What a curious selection. Fair enough, though. So, so far we have Perilagu Khan, Python and GeneralGogol citing SKYFALL as one of the top three, but as yet no one putting it at number one. |

| I think Skyfall should be given some time before being declared número uno. |

What a curious selection. This is coming from the guy with THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN as No. 1. |

| It's hard for me to say. I've only seen the film twice. I think maybe after a few more viewings and some time I'll be able to more accurately judge the film.
With that said, I'd definitely think Casino Royale and Skyfall rank it up their among the classics off the series, but I couldn't tell you if it was a top 3 or top 5 film yet. Top 10? Most likely.
By far they are the best two films we've had since the 1960s...I can't really thinking of a Bond film from 1971-2002 that can match them. I would say DN, FRWL, GF, TB, OHMSS, CR, SF stand out for me from the rest of the pack. |

| Certainly not top three. I think it would just fall out of my top five. |

| Skyfall belongs in the bottom of the barrel along with Die Another Day, Live and Let Die, A View to a Kill, The World Is Not Enough, Quantum of Solace. |

| SKYFALL is in the top 10 for me, but not in the top 5. Roughly around the area of highly entertaining, yet slightly flawed Bond films populated by GF, TSWLM, and GE. |

| It would probably be well within my top ten without all the 'oh, mother!' shit and if it hadn't turned into the A Team partway through. As it is it's in the teens. |

So by your logic, QoS ranks no.7 in your list of Bond films. |

| I haven't done a list in a while, but QoS would probably make my top ten. The quality gets rather scarce once you get past the best Connery Bonds and TLD. |

| Just in the top 10 for me. My top 5 consist of Tomorrow Never Dies, From Russia With Love, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Dr. No and The World Is Not Enough.
Out of Craig's films, it ranks like so:
Skyfall Quantum of Solace Casino Royale |
