John Williams will return to score Star Wars Episode VII

Rick Carter, Chris Corbould and Dan Mindel are good additions to the crew, as well. JJ is still the wildcard in this, IMO.

If Kasdan does that might have Ford skipping into Episode VII.

That is a good thing.

He's easily the most consistent element of the series or indeed any endeavour with Lucas or Spielberg so good news.

Will likely be the only really good part of the film, unless they start casting some real talent.

It may be sacrilegious to some but at its very best I consider Star Wars is simply 'Good' whereas at its worse it's borderline inept......coincidentally pretty much like your typical Abraham's 'product'. It is actually William's score that makes much of it work imo that really otherwise shouldn't (though even he with all his majestic sweeping couldn't put a spark into Hayden Christensen)....I don't know much about the newer cast members but I suspect John Williams has his work cut out for him once again.

Von Sydow is talented, but I'll bet he'll be as underused as Christopher Lee was in the prequels.
