| Tickles me that 2 modern day blockbusters have probably portrayed the character much less successfully than the late 70s TV show. |

Yes. Just another little instance of the truth being off limits in this age of galloping phoniness and fakery. Kind of like calling strippers "exotic dancers." What's so bloody exotic about them? She's usually some down-and-outer from a lousy neighborhood in your city or a dying small town not far from it. There's nothing remotely exotic about her or what she does, and everybody knows it. |

| oh, that's what I keep meaning to tell you I watched Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet over Christmas and I have never seen a performance like that before. It really was jaw dropping good. I really was stunned...all those things they say about so many useless talents was true here. 4 hours and I restarted it as soon as it ended amazing I don't even know what to compare such excellence to and not sure I will ever see anything like that again. it was so alive and you could tell he just loves the material he managed to add a certain star quality almost glitzy performance to it without compromising a thing even the rapid fire was working great for me the words were intoxicating delivered by him and I kept closing my eyes because I just wanted to hear it, feel it wash over me I also haven't watched another movie since really. I need to watch all of his work now.

Oh, when I was a youff, I hit the titty bars on a fairly reggler basis. And I didn't go for the exoticism, which didn't exist. These were local girls trying to earn some dosh whilst gyrating around a pole. No more exotic than a baloney sandwich. As for tranny porn, not only no, but hell no. |

Did it star Derek Jacobi? I remember way back in high school seeing some fancy British production of either Hamlet or Macbeth, and it seems like it might have been Branagh. I know Jacobi was in it. My Shakespeare is shamefully weak, I must admit. |

| Admire your patience, Sarai ... I know I don't possess enough for a movie with a 4-hour runtime, regardless of how captivating it is. Not in a single sitting, anyway. |

| First one was decent within its genre.
I could not believe how horrible the second one was. The writing was utterly dire.
I'm no Snyder fan but his WW bank scene in Justice League is better than any of the action set pieces in WW84. |
