| The reason why posters (for Bond and non-Bond) these days go for a minimalist approach is because of the mentality that goes into making posters also work as thumbnail pics that you can browse on iTunes and Netflix. The theatrical poster for TLD would not function as a thumbnail pic because so much of the detail would be minimized to the point you can barely recognize it, which is why they redesign them to have Dalton's face taking up much of the space, with enough for the title and a 007 logo to make it recognizable for the average joe. |

Yeah, CR's theatrical blows. Eva Green is giving Craig the "Can't believe I let you cum in my arse" look. The teaser, however, remains one of the standout posters of recent years. It held the promise of a darker, deeper, gritter Bond and the end of Brosnanism. |

You know the rules. Fifty Euros only buys you half and half. |

| That theatrical poster is among the worst. Even as a photoshop job it's a hack work. It's obviously Craig's head on someone else's body, that why Eva Green looks horrified. |

That's Eva's habitual look. When Hollywood remakes The Addams Family she should zombie-walk it. |

| She looked like that for 95% of the film.
Combine that with her raspy smoker's voice and you have "the best Bond girl ever"*.

| In the end M007RE had to evict Eva from Baker Street. There just weren't enough takers for necrophilia. |

| Nice bit of fan art taken from Mi6.
These are the worst posters since DIE ANOTHER DAY. |

| They're really going to town with James Bond's trick-or-treat costume.
They should do one with Blofeld's pussy in the background (assuming he has a pussy in this movie, which he bloody well better). |

Blofeld had a pussy in the original draft, but I think it was Amy Paschal that said no one would buy Blofeld as a woman unless maybe Meryl Streep was playing the role, so the writers changed him back to a man. |

These are the worst posters since DIE ANOTHER DAY. Actually, I think these new ones are the best since DAD. I like posters that have things going on in them. A lot of color and action. Other than, perhaps, the CR teaser poster, I've not been impressed by much else in the Craig poster era, but this is definitely an improvement over everything that has come since. |

I like this new batch too. Much better than the teal one-sheet. I think that top horizontal one — not sure if it's a quad, standee or just art for the web — is great. |

| The teal poster was definitely missing something, and now that this version has been published, I know what it was - a splash of colour to offset the grey. |

| I have a feeling the IMAX posters are always gonna be among the best of Craig's run, assuming he does the final fifth film on his contract. |

| I'm not across the spoilers, but from the trailers I'd guess Bond spends the better part of a minute dressed like a Mexican beer mascot. Makes about as much sense as having an OP poster starring Bond in his Bozo getup.
Actually, an OP poster with Clown-Rog posing with a gun would be great. |

Yeah nothing all that creative and fantastic about the IMAX poster IMO… If someone wants to photoshop a clown or a gorilla OP poster, that would be great! Could be the new banner for this place… |

| Nothing about the IMAX poster says Bond. For anything else, I'd like it. The Skyfall IMAX poster was the best Skyfall poster, though ... |
