Pretty unimaginative. But at least they haven't jettisoned the gun and the tux yet. And I must say, this poster doesn't exactly scream "Fun!" and "Entertainment!" I hope the poster doesn't augur that SF will be a beating the way QOS was.

The problem with the internet is that you don't have to wait for anything. Back in the good ol' days we saw the posters only when they were hung in the local cinema shortly before the film was released. If you didn't like them you went home, took scissors to a Marquee or Tribute magazine and fashioned your own 8"X11" collage,which no one but your closest friends ever had to see.

Now everyone dumps their own C&V artwork in the forums and sure, some of it is pretty good, but in the end we still have to live with what EON's publicists present to us on 2'X3' sheets.

Rather than bitch about how it's not as good as so-and-so's own cut&paste effort, I'd rather ignore the fan art and appreciate what I'll see full-size on my living room wall next year.

I voted "It's alright." I agree this poster doesn't compare with the artwork from TB-TSWLM, but presentation styles have changed. At least it's not as devoid of evocation as DAD's NA poster.

I find it rather disturbing that Sony and EON probably have an army of marketing and design people, and this is the best they can come up with.

Craig's looking rough. That short hair does him no favors.

It's not the most creatively interesting poster but any stretch, but I find the gunbarrel motif reassuring.

It tells me that James Bond - the main ingredient and the reason we flock to the theatres every couple of years - is back.

Martinis, girls & guns are all gravy, and they'll probably be on the next poster.

That's not a good poster - to me it's the worst of the three official ones for Skyfall. We already had the gunbarrel in the teaser poster - this is just overkill. The US poster, on the other hand, suffers from "007 logo" overkill. The bit of London we see here is just that - a non-factor. The colours are so bland, you can hardly make out the Union Jack. If they wanted to use that image, then the full picture of Craig standing on the rooftop would've been better. And my biggest disappointment here is Craig's look. It must be the poor choice of lighting, but with half of Craig's face looking so ghostly pale, it's not a successful photo to market Skyfall.

Well, at least the color of the tux looks right, but Craig's wearing an odd expres​sion(boy, does Craig look bored in these posters) and the layout is boring.

Seriously, this is the worst poster campaign since LICENCE TO KILL.

Poor effort, EON. I applaud the use of Bondian tropes like the tux, the PPK, and the gunbarrel but nevertheless these posters aren't of the professional standard you'd expect from a major film franchise.

I've noticed that some theatres may run out of letters for their marquee, so instead of putting up "The World is Not Enough" they'll simply put up '007.'

That's all it takes.

Same with the posters. It's only we O/C fans who need variety.

As long as I know a new film is coming, and the poster isn't identical to the last one, I'm good with it.

Fan art again. Don't know who the f*ck came up with the poster campaign for this film, but their approach or instructions seem to have been to make Daniel Craig look as listless, bored, awkward or unanimated as possible, and then to make every poster look like lazy photoshop fan art. Eon probably just found this latest poster on the internet, and simply replaced CASINOROYALE's head with Craig's head. It's really that underwhelming. Is it really so tough to get just one good pose from Craig for a poster?

I'd say the design brief was more "make something neutral that doesn't give any plot details away".

It worked for the first poster, but it appears that whoever designed this one took it a little too seriously.

Again i like the wide one more. It's alright. Very smart to at Bond in a Blue Tuxedo.

With the first one i liked there show the first view with ''Comingsoon'' as subtitle.




That there deside to show this time version with Uk release date iam not a big fan from because as i said before with ''Comingsoon'' already on it made it easier to release in other countries. Possible this is signal it wil be yuse as front of the soundtrack. The second poster of QOS with Uk release date be yused as front of the QOS soundtrack too.

Another option is no release date like there did with Twine.




But keep in mind with Twine the teaser (fire girl) get a release date of the country on it with sometimes a twist, but the release date/month at that time be 100% sjure but those days/since Die Another Day don't and that's why i prefer now ''Comingsoon'' or no release date.

Offcial Skyfall Dutch release date whas 1 November, but since 2 months or something it is 31 October.
