'Skyfall' teaser poster unveiled

It will be followed by screenings of "From Russia With Love", "Diamonds Are Forever", "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and "Casino Royale". This is the first time a James Bond film has screened during the festival.

It's pretty odd we have no poster yet. QOS had its first poster pretty early.

Hopefully the extra time means it won't suck. :)

Probably the most atrocious. Looks like something from the Brosnan era, even that overused font style with the transparent 007 logos.

The article says "between 16th and 27th May". Is there an exact date, or do we only have a general word?

I'm guessing it will be before the teaser trailer is released, though.

To be fair, there have been a couple of very good fan arts out there. This one is particularly good:



It's only a problem when someone rushes to slap a SKYFALL logo on the latest image to be released, and then presents it as art.

Fans need to just quit attempting tag lines on their fan art. They all tend to suck.

Yeah that was a surprise. With all the talk about SF being lighter, I hope this is is sort of a reflection. Maybe it won't have the classic Tom Mankiewicz zingers but there's at least some attempt.

They couldn't pick Goldfinger or For Your Eyes Only instead of Diamonds Are Forever?

In many ways DAF is more entertaining than GF and FYEO.

I found DAF to be slapstick silly for Connery.

If it was a Moore's Bond, it would had worked better.

Connery's Bond in DAF is totally different. It wouldn't have worked with Moore.

DN, OHMSS and CR ... fair enough. But in the interests of fair representation maybe the other 2 Connerys could've been replaced by LALD and TLD, and GE added too.
