Rate SPECTRE's pretitle out of 10 and overall (out of all 24 films)

Still putting my thoughts together on the film overall. Maybe after a second viewing.

But the pretitle was a blast!

Probably a 9… Will wait for a second viewing before bumping it to a 10… Best of the Craig era so far I think, but a good handful of other PTSs in the series are better.

I enjoyed the pre-titles immensely. Probably an 8. Something about it seemed a bit off a times. Like they didn't get to give it a proper polish. Mind you I've only seen it once, so it's hard to judge accurately. Loved the tracking shot.

My only problem with the pre-title is that it was too much. There's too much spectacle and action in the first 10 minutes or so. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it. The problem is everything else that came afterward simply paled in comparison. The rest of the action scenes are pretty generic. The only thing that comes somewhat close is the train fight.

Cannot say at this point. Looking forward to taking another gander at it.

A solid 8 from me ... thrills and spectacle to spare, plus you gotta love Bond leaving the company of a local popsy that he's clearly, ahem, previously gotten to know intimately to go and carry out an assassination.

It's just a shame that some of the greenscreen work when Bond and Sciarra are slugging it out in and outside the 'copter isn't QUITE up to scratch.

I'll plump for an 8. Even with Craig bringing another building down it's quite up there.
