| Interesting that DAD not only brings up the hindmost, but is parsecs behind No.21. The gap of 117 points between DAD and TWINE is easily the largest gap between two consecutive films in the ranking. |

Yes it occupies its own special place of shame in the Bond canon. :( |

| Thank you for all the nice words guys :)
I personally find it quite difficult to caterogise a 'Super 7' or a 'Super 8' because from my observations FRWL is miles ahead of OHMSS, and OHMSS is miles ahead of TB putting those two into a class of their own. From TB onwards I cannot identify any BIG gaps until the gap seperating TWINE and DAD. I also am surprised by how high TB was but I sure aren't complaining. |

But there is still a significant gap between GE and #9 and even GE has some work to do to catch the Super 7, but it's a lot closer than last time. |

bloody hell. You know, this was...2009/2010 when I last did a Bondathon. They tended to have changed every year from 2006, Thunderball used to be much lower as was Dr No and TSWLM higher. |

| PLATINUM: perfect these films are the cream of the crop concerning 007 as well as action films in general 1. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) 2. From Russia with Love (1963) 3. The Living Daylights (1987) 4. Thunderball (1965)
GOLD: excellent the runners-up, very few problems and in the end they all deliver with flair 5. Dr. No (1962) 6. GoldenEye (1995) 7. The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) 8. Goldfinger (1964)
SILVER: very good above average entries whose advantages vastly outnumber the lesser moments 9. Licence to Kill (1989) 10. Casino Royale (2006) 11. Octopussy (1983) 12. You Only Live Twice (1967) 13. The World Is Not Enough (1999)
BRONZE: good episodes that are far from flawless but nevertheless very enjoyable 14. The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) 15. Never Say Never Again (1983) 16. For Your Eyes Only (1981) 17. Moonraker (1979) 18. Casino Royale (1967) 19. Quantum of Solace (2008) 20. Live and Let Die (1973) 21. A View to a Kill (1985)
GREEN: mediocre the bad aspects are starting to outweigh the good ones here, watchable at best 22. Die Another Day (2002) 23. Diamonds AForever (1971)
RED: bad this is a category reserved for movies which have less good than bad moments and thus being bad/awful films 24. Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)

| Here is my new, revised, and updated list (again!) although this one is looking a lot more stable than my previous two lists. The biggest riser is TWINE and the biggest loser is TMWTGG. There have been a lot of changes but there are still some stalwarts in there which I doubt I will ever move much at all. Still, three lists on three pages must be a record LOL.
01) The Living Daylights 02) Thunderball 03) GoldenEye 04) On Her Majesty’s Secret Service 05) From Russia with Love 06) Casino Royale 07) The Spy Who Loved Me 08) Dr No 09) The World Is Not Enough 10) Live and Let Die 11) For Your Eyes Only 12) Tomorrow Never Dies 13) Goldfinger 14) Diamonds Are Forever 15) The Man with the Golden Gun 16) Die another Day 17) A View to a Kill 18) Licence to Kill 19) You Only Live Twice 20) Octopussy 21) Moonraker 22) Quantum of Solace

| I know that it may be a little bit premature but I have now updated the 'Ultimate Bond and Beyond Ranking' to include both mine and Krilenco's revisions as well as Seve's list. Few real changes here apart from a little bit of shuffling at the very bottom of the list.
01) From Russia with Love - 149 02) On Her Majesty's Secret Service - 226 03) Thunderball - 297 04) The Living Daylights - 312 05) Dr No - 320 06) Goldfinger - 377 07) Casino Royale - 385 08) GoldenEye - 415 09) Licence To Kill - 510 10) For Your Eyes Only - 526 11) The Spy Who Loved Me - 538 12) You Only Live Twice - 598 13) Octopussy - 600 14) Live and Let Die - 624 15) Diamonds Are Forever - 629 16) Moonraker - 680 17) Quantum of Solace - 687 18) A View to a Kill - 753 19) Tomorrow Never Dies - 770 20) The World Is Not Enough - 773 21) The Man with the Golden Gun - 777 22) Die another Day - 905

| A sterling top trio you have there Louis if I do say so myself. Great minds really do think alike ;).
However, the rest of your list is rather questionnable. I am curious as to how you could rank TSWLM and TWINE so low, yet rank OP, LTK and QOS so high?

| LTK is brilliant, while QOS is mid-pack Bond, just where LA has it. |

Yes I've become more of a convert to the Dalts films, especially LTK, which I really do enjoy as a stand-alone adventure. QoS can work for me as a Bond-on-mission type film, in the same way that LTK can, even if much of the film (QoS) is polluted by the stylings of both the director and the writer. But don't worry I haven't gone soft, the Connery persona trumps all else, however these other Bonds can be enjoyed for their own merits. |

| After completing my latest run through all the Bonds (save DAD, naturally), it's time for the new rankings.
Here's my most recent:
1. OHMSS 2. CR 3. GE 4. LTK 5. TLD 6. DAF 7. FRWL 8. TB 9. FYEO 10. DN 11. Gun 12. QOS 13. Spy 14. TND 15. LALD 16. OP 17. MR 18. GF 19. AVTAK 20. TWINE 21. YOLT 22. DAD
And now for the new:
1. OHMSS 2. GE 3. CR 4. TLD 5. LTK 6. FRWL 7. TB 8. DAF 9. LALD 10. DN 11. FYEO 12. MR 13. Gun 14. Spy 15. TND 16. QOS 17. GF 18. AVTAK 19. YOLT 20. TWINE 21. OP 22. DAD
OP and QOS dropped rather dramatically, while MR and LALD jumped a fair piece. |
