Hell yeah. Roger Moore’s Bond is a fascinating litmus test for your appreciation of the sillier side of this franchise, perhaps even life itself. Opinions on his take vary more wildly than any other Bond, fluctuating between recoil and refusal of his light-hearted japery to an unironically sincere appreciation for his willingness to be in on the joke. It seems an entire generation hates him, but I just love him.
I totally get why his films are looked down upon by many, but he will forever be my childhood favorite, perpetual pick-me-up, and go-to comfort Bond.

Kudos to japery. Not a word one encounters every day among Bond fans.

Well, it can refer to their manner of speaking.

Strong top 10, PK.
I must say, surprised to see NTTD ahead of DAF. Chalk and cheese in terms of tone and the type of humour for my money.

Yeah, if humor were my overriding criterion, DAF would be No. 1, and MR No. 3. LTK, IMO, has the strongest combination of humor and severity of all the Bond films.

People often forget that there's a good bit of levity in LTK, stemming from Sharkie, Wayne Newton, Q, and occasionally Dalton himself.

Not to mention Truman-Lodge ("We wouldn't want our best customers developing a drug habit."), Pam ("Aaaaw, bullshit!") and Sanchez ("Drug dealers of the world, unite!").

After all the grief he's given Bond down the years about his attitude to the gadgetry, Q's tossing of the 'radio broom' after the briefest of uses in LTK is glorious.

I kinda find it disjointed with the emphatic violence throughout. I suppose it could work. Lethal Weapon would be a touchpoint. Maybe that's what they were going for. But a lot of it doesn't land for me. It's that same style of gag humor as the rest of the Glen movies. Some cute stuff but it's not got legs. Can you do pressurizing a head to explode and alluding to the rape of Bond's best friend's wife BUT ALSO have laser beam camera photographing a photograph in which the subjects turn into skeletons? Eh it's a tall task...
