Looks to be fun. Nice to see Chris Evans play snarky again.
And on a similar subject, those that haven't seen the 1974 film MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS (with Albert Finney and Sean Connery) should give that a watch.

Does look like fun. Great to see the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis in something that might be decent again.
Craig is cringe-inducing, though.

Glimpsed the trailer on FB, has my vote on the basis of Christopher Plummer.

Looks to be darkly comic-thriller fun. I see Fields' dislike of Craig in Bond has now expanded to what appears to be dislike of him in anything.

I liked him in Road to Perdition, Munich and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Just seems like when he tries to amp up the charm, he's cringeworthy and awkward. Just thinking about it makes me wince.

DC was also very good in Layer Cake, Archangel and Defiance. As I have said, he's a very good actor, I just don't think he's been a very good ambassador for the 007 franchise, quite the opposite in fact. It seems he'd be very difficult to work with.....I'm sure I'd hit him, were I to work with him.

Forgot about Defiance. I might have to give it a rewatch. Haven't seen Archangel... The mediocre reviews put me off wasting my time on it. Layer Cake was a bit of a slog to get through, IIRC.

Being a big fan of the novel Archangel (by Robert Harris) I watched the television adaptation and thoroughly enjoyed it.....quite faithful to the book.

This looks like it is made by someone who doesn't understand the form of a classical murder mystery..oh wait look who made it...

He's also pretty good in the US Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Man alive, releasing a movie with that subject matter on Boxing Day has to be one of the stranger major-studio marketing decisions ... no wonder it never made enough to get the other two greenlit.

And to release it so soon after the Swedish version. Shame, because I quite liked the remake.

They really should have released it on a February date in 2012, but I think Sony was looking to collect Oscars. I think studios forget that Oscar winners like SILENCE OF THE LAMBS came out on February rather than a typical "Oscar season" month. GET OUT is another good example of a February release. Never underestimate the amount of couples that want to go out to see a good thriller in theaters for Valentines Day.
