If our president would have the balls to push our governors for a full on lockdown instead of pussyfooting as he has during this entire pandemic, I would at least respect him on that account. The US handling has been abysmal.

The fact that Disney World is open at all is just utterly insane.

And they need it, too. With NTTD budgeted at $250m, plus marketing costs (usually the cost of the budget), plus the development fees (in addition to switching from P&W's draft to Boyle and Hodge's and back again) and any other add ons from postponing due to the coronavirus, their profits would be rather slim, relatively speaking.

Luckily Bond is a lucrative investment for them, with royalties guaranteed in the years to come.

Seems pretty fair to say no big studio film is coming out in 2020.

The Spy Command's Bill Koenig, known here as Napoleon Solo, reports NTTD is on track for its November release, but will "monitor and adjust" its 2020 slate if necessary.

Bill doesn't mention it, but the thing everyone is keeping an eye out for is how TENET will perform when it opens.

26th in the UK and Ireland ... I'm on holiday in Dublin next week, and have booked for Tenet on its opening night.

Thanks to social distancing measures, the three seats in front of and behind mine and the 4 seats next to it (2 on either side) are off-limits to other patrons. FINE by me, lol.

The official Bond Facebook page just announced a new trailer will be released on Thursday. Looks like they are sticking with November release date.

Thankfully they're pressing ahead with the November release. It's dragging on too long. I truly hope they've been wise enough to start the search of the new Bond actor (if they haven't already offered it to Cavill or Fassbender - yes I'm still holding out for that!) and bouncing ideas for Bond 26. Generally, the industry is always looking for more time in development and coronavirus has provided that. No excuses.

I saw a comment online where someone noted they had forgot the movie was coming out - and, referencing the poster, another user said "It looks like they forgot too!".

I have to say they are right, guess they need to cut costs somehow, that's a rather atrocious poster. Looks like they threw it together in about ten minutes on photoshop.

Yep. Though it's consistent with the minimalist (read: boring) approach to the other Craig era posters... and films too.

I wonder about Craig's stance and facial expression in the poster. Looks like he's trying to hold in his faecal matter. A metaphor for the film?

Granted, Bond in a tux wielding the PPK and looking determined isn't too new ... but after nearly 60 years, what 'new' is there to be done with the posters?

A look at the film beyond the lead?

One doesn't just see Roger Moore in his movie posters. Even in his most minimalist movie poster - AVTAK - there's still a sense of action and scope with either the Eiffel Tower or Golden Gate Bridge.

TLD's poster is still the gold standard post-Connery/Moore IMO.

It also looks like they had the Dalton against the shoreline image with the background 007, were about to go to print and then somebody said 'OH SHIT ... what about the women, the bad guy and the action? Umm ... we'll stick them over on the right-hand side there, that'll do'.
