| Admittedly, this is about as trivial as it gets, but it just occurred to me that the name of the character Yusef Kabira in QoS could be in homage to Kabir Bedi, who portrayed Gobinda in OP. That's it. All I've got. Carry on. |

| If they were gonna do an homage to Octopussy, they should've called him Yusef Eightkuntz. |

| It's possible. Purvis & Wade know their Bond stuff inside and out to make little references like that. Since the whole ending with Bond warning the Canadian agent that she's been compromised is straight out of "007 in New York", I imagine the name of Yusef was another reference.
It's too bad they had already used the Solange name in CR, could have saved it for the QOS ending. |

I don't think so. With the greatest of respect to Bedi, I can't think of a reason why they'd want to. - CJB wrote:
