Good idea. Maybe he could assassinate a Khadaffi look-alike without actually identifying the country as Libya. If you remember from the OP pts, Bond walks by a blatant Castro look-alike, which I think was intended for us to use our imaginations. We could believe that was indeed Castro and that Bond was in Cuba or that he was infiltrating a similar communist/socialist enemy of the west populated by Castro look-alikes. |

| I think the country in OP's PTS is meant to be an Argentina clone as a nod to the (then) recent Falklands conflict. I, too, envisaged Craig taking out a Libyan baddie with a resemblance to Colonel Mo, comical sunnies and all. |

| I definitely thought of Cuba and Castro (bushy beard, fat cigar) in OP's PTS. And I agree that the so-called "Arab spring" could work very well in a Bond film although I suspect B23's script was finished before this upheaval...well...upheaved. |

| There are plenty of things that 007 could be doing amidst Arab instability, like using twitter to organize and spread the protests, provoking the local security and law enforcement agencies to attack the protesters, helping the international media create juicy coverage, disrupting communications between the regime and the military, parachuting in self-proclaimed opposition leaders, arming the militant rebels, bombing the militants to make it look like the regime did it, securing the oil fields, and finally assassinating the leader and making off with his Ukrainian nurse-mistress and all-female security detail... all in one day! |

| All good ideas above. I do think assassinating an obvious Colonel MO clone would be a real crowd pleaser- and running off with his woman too. It could be done with a dash of humour too. Just a Bondian dash mind you. But not quite Rog era wackiness. The Destroyer Remo Williams series used to do this quite often. The books would open with Remo on the job taking out some public figure that the authors wearied of. Not only real baddies but guys like Oliver Stone and Tarantino would also get the treatment. Sting for example was fed to wild monkeys in the rain forest My favourite, was Remo taking out OJ Simpson on a golf course. Being a Master of Sinanju, Remo was able to strike a golf shot from long range and catch OJ on the head a few hundred yards down the fairway. Made it look like an accident. |

| I can see the climax of Bond 23. The Qaddafi-esque Arab dictator has an army of sexy, kickboxing henchwomen. In response, MI6 send their own bevy of deadly beauties and an epic battle ensues.
And there's mud. Lots of mud. |

| Seeing as the tabloid press seems to be convinced that the B23 pts will take place in Mumbai, maybe the script will be rejigged to take into account the horrible Islamist terrorist attacks of this week as well as a few years ago. Bond taking out some terrorist activit,y linked with Quantum pulling strings behind the scenes. |

Heh heh. You really think that fits Tits Broccoli's agenda? |

| She'd pull a Spooks and take a scenario reminiscent of a real event and reverse the religions of the culprits and victims. |

Heh heh. You really think that fits Tits Broccoli's agenda? No I don't of course, but I'm just trying to pretend that Eon might respect Bond as an agent of the West who might want to take a run at clearly identified enemies of the west. We can dream. |

| The next film should be another prequel. It should feature Bond and Osama Bin Laden being friends, until Bin Laden goes rogue and initiates the attacks of 9/11.
Bond is sent to track Bin Laden down. The confrontation starts with a heated argument and ends with Bond bringing Bin Laden back to his senses.
Bond escorts the terrorist-turned-hero back to Mi6, where he is promoted to double-o status. Years later, Bin Laden is put on assignment in Pakistan. Eventually, a bunch of American bad guys raid his base of operations and blow a piece of his face off.
This sets up a sequel, where Bond seeks revenge.
Daniel Craig as James Bond Arab guy from "Lost" as Osama Bin Laden Dame Judi Dench as M Denzel Washington as Barack Obama
