- In terms of the DVD's I gifted the entire boxset to my brother awhile ago. Growing up I used to gift him the VHS for his birthday. We don't compete over who loves Bond more. But, I own the soundtracks on CD and I have an LP of the vinyl my Grandfather owned, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"
New member. Nice! That LP must be a treasured item. Do you have a record player to play it on?
Hi Phantom :)) Thank you for the welcome. I received a record player for my 25th birthday. I love vinyl. However, when I relocated to a different city I couldn't find a way of moving with it, so a friend is holding onto it (for now). Glad to hear it. I find the sound from vinyl to be much better than digital. Warmer and fuller, if that makes sense. It depends on the loudspeakers, too, of course. My own record player was ruined years ago, and I never got around to replacing it, so I have a bunch of albums that are just stacked away in plastic bags, collecting dust now. I agree. Nothing compares to that sound. I hope in your near future a record player comes your way :)) Thanks. It is entirely up to me, isn´t it? What is stalling is that I don´t know where I should put it in my current apartment. It doesn´t fit in with all the other stuff. I guess stuff owns me more than I own it. |
