| The thread was slightly amusing.
http://debrief.commanderbond.net/topic/59596-a-certain-other-bond-site/Here in all its glory
Highlights:
- j7wild acting like he did more than quote and copy posts from Celebutopia
- complaints that threads on MI6 would too often fall into "juvenile humour"
- complaints MI6 was more cluttered than CBn, had excessive subforums (compared to CBn...) and a worse layout than CBn.
- the ridiculous attempts to be discreet, like it's a diplomatic cable they got their hands on and they shouldn't really be talking about...
Yes, I'm not a fan of CBn |

| Absolutely Retrokitty.
Also, I'd like to ask who we should invite here. In a list, I think:
Saunders V Section Perilagu Khan Danslittlefinger Agent Leiter JamesBond0017 Daniel timmer George Lazenby BAIN123 The Undiscovered Country 6of1
But, as we all know, they are from KTBEU. And while that's great, we all know each other, don't we? And because this is understandably an "invite only" forum, conversations may begin to repeat themselves when concerning Bond. Could we allow each member to at least invite one friend who is a James Bond to these forums? Just so we can have new discussions and new tastes infused into B&B.
We all need to be happy with who is here and who's not. |

| I must admit I'm not too familiar with the user JamesBond0017, but the rest on that list are fine in my book. |

| I'd love to get all of those people over here.
The biggest coup for me would be Major. One of my favorite posters and a Mod. I'd truly miss him. |

| Me too. I was going to put he and Dublo down, but I can't see them coming....
Um, what about the "bring a friend" idea? I have at least 3-4 people who may be interested.... |

| I really think we have to be careful in the beginning with who comes over. I don't know the dude ending in 017... But the rest are great.
Major would be amazing to have here. One of my favourite posters of all time. And though I think he's trustworthy, it's my instinct to wait a bit longer before inviting any mods.
As I've said before, some of the mods are my personal friends. But their behavior on the site at times leaves me with the impression that instead of coming here for a break and keeping it quiet, their loyalty to MI6 is stronger :( and they'd try to convince us to not be rogue agents... And it pains me to write this... I hope I'm wrong and if I am, I'm truly sorry... But arguing over what happened and having reps from that site try to convince us it wasn't a kick in the teeth isn't something I'm interested in reading here. Had they not been so quick to defend the actions and new site, I might think differently. :(

| I don't know any of the members suggested. But I'm guessing none of them are moderators. With the feelings of many of the former Mi6ers being felt on other forums such as CommanderBondNet and DanielCraigIsNotBond, it is possible members from those sites also find their way here.

I say to hell with them.

| I'd say just keep an eye on the MI6 boards first, because there's a few people on that list who seem more than behind the new MI6 format. And GL is thankfully already here, under the name Drax. - Brown wrote:

I say to hell with them. As much as I like Dublo and Major, this whole new MI6 thing seems to have the Mod team locked tighter together than ever. Maybe it's best to just observe things first. If Dublo comes out and says "What the f*** is all this Facebook s***?", then, like Thunderball, strike and nab him for this place, show him the light. Same for Major. Until then, it may be safer to see whether either/both of them take the same "all Mods together pretending to love it" suck-up stance as the others.

Dublo made it clear that he was going to give NuMi6 a chance, and disagreed with my comments regarding the way Page handled the transition. I imagine he's just looking to keep his position. Which is a shame, as it doesn't mean S***. |

| Dublo writes for the main site now too. I think it's good for him that he does as it bridges his love of Bond and his love of writing. He's not going to want to jeopardise that.
Let the mods be. We all know they are decent people.... the mod job changes people somehow. Shame too. As Lazenby said, we can catch them if they see the light.

I invited Khan, Oppers, Rave and MOO7RE via CBn's messaging system, but I don't expect that to work. Although they all maintain their memberships there I don't think any of them visit anymore. |
