| At the very least, I think the idea should have been floated by the 00's in the 00 Seciton of the forum or perhaps even the forum at large. If only they'd been open to input and criticism. If only they'd been transparent. No, no, it seems to the head honchos efficiency and easy modding matters more. Ironic that NuMI6 is called "MI6 Community". Ha! KTBU was a community. NuMI6 is more like a chook pen.
Nobody asked for this.

Heh, I think EON stuff i fairgame here. |

I still can't believe the warning I did get. They told me to get ready for something, and didn't even tell me what the hell it was. This is like the end of THE TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE. After years of asking "When's the update coming? When's the update coming?", all I can do is sit here and laugh my ass off. Really, think about that for second. Let it sink in. The update that never happened.... actually never happened. It surely wasn't an update.

- For me it's the people. The posts are gone. There's a database, but I wouldn't know WHERE to start backing that stuff up.
But it's the loss of people that gets me. FourDot apparently said adios. That alone hurt me more than all the posts. It's the people that make the forum, and I can't quit y'all. We were having too much damn fun. We'll think of more S*** to post. More montages for sure. And here, because over there it's a pain in the ass to do anything. But if we can't get all the people on board I'll be more affected by that.
One guy is trevanien. Losing him would/will be a real shame. Absolutely. Some of the finest blokes I ever discussed with on the net. I really hope we can managed to contact guys like Harmsway, Largo's Shark and others to join here. It's already a pretty big loss. Even so, I'm still glad to see a lot of vets here already. Without a forum with you guys I'd be pretty much lost in a sense. |

Heh, I think EON stuff i fairgame here. I'm aware of that, but there some pretty nifty non-EON avatars I would have a hard time trying to find on the web. Such as Connery holding that glass. I try looking for that on the web but no results. |

| I have that one. I was talking about this one specifically: I saved it so it's all good. Right now I'm using a direct link to the old MI6 that's currently in the mothballs. So expect that link to be not active once they do shut it down. |

| Maybe we should move this thread to the new members section.
Or rather start one there. |

| Let's keep both. I'll set up an MI6 thread in the new section, but I won't mention this thread. Let people find it. Keep that thread relatively clean and free of stuff like F*** you MI6 you F***ING assholes motherfuckers. |

| I agree with many of the posters here. Unless it was involuntary, I've visited KTBEU every day since April 20, 2008. I've matured in so many ways from just frequenting the forums, because it wasn't just a forum. By title, yes, but in meaning, it was like a second home. I've made some good friends over the years. Lalala, Lazenby, Perilagu Khan, Agent Leiter, 6of1, Prince Kamal Khan, Fae, Colly, Count Chocula, Kyvan. I feel cheated. I really do. All that work that I put into my tournament, and I had some more ideas for it for after we ranked all of the "highlights". Discussions, jokes, conversations, games - It was time well spent - time that could have been revisited, but now only cherished, as that "board will self destruct soon".
I don't have many members on MSN or anything. I have Tommy, Colly, Fae and James. C. And Octopussy, but well, you know... I think I may have Lalala too. I really want the mature members back.
and Balje! :(

| Looks like she's already a member, but joined a year ago. Let her know this place is being revived big time.
The memberlist is set to who visited last so you can see a batch of members who haven't been around since 2010 and need to be informed. |

| Just sent another message to FourDot over at MI6Book. So, as long as FD ventures into there just ONE more time, he should find his way over here. |

We can only hope. I'm over at the MI6 graveyard and I can see active members showing up on the site. Largo's Shark is there along with BAIN, doctor zhivago and even j7wild. I wish the PM system was still working on there! :x |

Second thoughts, don't answer that one..... That's a clean thread. Don't link to this one in that thread. Don't mention this thread there. Let people find it. I wanna keep things a little down low right now. |

| Poor Miss Lynd. Not sure what to do as the newly registered member. I can't even send her a welcome post.. :(
It's so bloody annoying. I'm going to miss those threads like What Would His Bond Do. One of the best threads, if not the best. I spent a whole afternoon reading through that thread and I was in tears. Absolutely hilarious it was, and it can't be replicated here. |

| Another thing I hate about the new MI6 is there's no membership directory. No active list. Only way you can figure out if they're on that site is if you find their post somewhere.
SERIOUSLY, HOW THE F*** DO THEY CALL THIS AN UPGRADE? |

We can't have that attitude! :afro: The MI6 Empire just fell and there is a potential vacuum. What we do in these first few days could make all the difference for B&B. It's the people who matter, not the posts. With the right people, hilarity will ensue once again. |
