And yet somehow, it managed to be more compelling than this one. :)

Probably because it had the villain speak, for one.

The word "epic" is really being thrown around loosely these days.

I will admit that the only thing that really got me going was the final shot of Bane menacing Batman.

Bruce Wayne getting into shape could've been from one of those Rocky montages. However, for now it was, the trailer, satisfying enough.

So who do people think would make a good Bruce Wayne/Bats in the future? From what I've read (albeit not much), they're gonna want to reboot Batman before diving into a Justice League film (which is no doubt on the horizon).

I think Billy Crudup could work. Could play a more charming, old-fashioned Wayne in a lighter Batman film.

Days like this, I miss Adam West's Batman

The biggest question here is how big Bane will appear in the film. Based on this alone, he's the same size as (and maybe even shorter than) Batman. I wonder if this riot sequence takes part before he's pumped with with Venom or if they're going to employ other tactics (CG, camera angles, etc.) to make Bane look bigger.

Given it's Nolan, though, I wouldn't be too shocked if Bane is just a regular guy but with big muscles.

What's the thing on his head for?

Keeps the bald out of his eyes

He does kinda look like someone walking around the background on Tatooine.

Geez, I thought Hardy was gonna bulk up. He doesn't even look like he's as big as he was in BRONSON in those photos. Just a guy with baggy clothes.

No, he's a Tatooine extra.

It's funny cause in the trailer you really get the sense of a huge, bulked up menace. I'm guessing this must be pre-Venom or something.

After all, the guy looks like this:

Speaking of bulk, I want to see some alternative universe Batman film from the late 40's starring Burt Lancaster. He had the body and the movement to where you could buy him beating the shit out of people every night.

And it'd be funny as hell to see him grin and talk in the mask.

Absolutely. That generic, steel-blue filter is a must for any film.
