I'm surprised its not hyping up that the flick is gonna be released on the 100th anniversary of the sinking. Cameron, that's easy money for you.

Ship struck the iceberg on the 14th, sunk the 15th. Left Southampton the 10th. :)
Unless it's a 12/04/12 thing.

ah right. I saw parts of that. Absolute joke.
Hence when I first saw this thread actually thought they'd made a third film. Well, a Titanic 3. This time sunk by a mega shark or somethingt

I still have copies of the THX Widescreen 2-VHS tapes edition in my stores.
Every now and then, someone buys one.
I didn't think anyone still had VHS players.

That was 1998; VHS was still big while DVD was still brand new.

I think that mr. Cameron wrote an excellent scenario in which he put two things that made it an excellent date movie. Romance with Dicaprio and Winslett, both fine looking people, and spectacle of a ship going down. AND in the end the Dicaprio dies. For women romentaic for men excellent.
I have the double DVD and won't see the 3D in cinema for that reason.

That doesn't describe Kate Winslet's figure ... it would fit a lot of those Victoria's Secret models you're so keen on, though.

I remember the opening day of the flick. I was 10 years old, outside the ticket booth I BEGGED my parents to allow me to go see MouseHunt instead of being dragged through a three hour movie about that icky romance bullshit. That part above was without a doubt my favorite moment in the flick. That, and the tits. If the whole film was about those two for three hours my 10 year old self might have agreed about the Oscar.
