The irony of all this is that Wood wrote arguably the best Fleming pastiches in novel form.

He had that kind of feel with Dikko Henderson in YOLT. On his day, Gray could be a terrifying actor. Perhaps he felt a certain vibe from the production of DAF and reflected it in Blofeld.
