Hell, I wouldn't even mind Blueblood. |

| Dog Bond would spice things up.
She could tell us more about her comics and porn collections. Plus Retrocat is a big fan I believe. |

She was abusive behind the scenes. I've manage to ignore her on the old board, which was easy because she was busy birthing babies. I'd do the same here. If it's spice you're after without the trouble attached to it... I'd suggest Rave be invited. She'd just have to be told that this is to be kept quite as much as possible... she was close to a mod or two. |

from elsewhere hereabouts... The "Kills" are basically reputation points; the more posts you make, topics you start, the longer you're here etc contribute to your amount of "Kills". It sounded less boring than just having "Reputation" there, maybe it adds more of a fun element to avoid it becoming competitive. After so many kills or posts, the ranks will change as you earn your spurs as an agent climbing the professional ladder.... or something like that.Ambler being here a year helps the kill count, in short :) |

Very funny. I'm old, cut me some slack. :) That MI6book message system thing confused the hell out of me. I thought the messages I sent would be private between me and the person I sent them to. I've just been in there and managed to delete all of my "conversations", so hopefully there'll be little remaining of anything I posted. - Moore wrote:

I honestly CAN'T believe the tone we are getting from James Page. He always seemed like a nice guy. I had planned on staying here and dropping in there once in a while to visit old friends, but his tone has made me reconsidered. I think I am done there for good. No matter what. I can't believe he is treated long time members that way. That ends that.
Thank god I won't have to put up with that here. Yep. I just went in there before with the intention of asking two or three questions which I felt were very valid. But I took one look at how other people were still being brushed off, so I figured f***it, I'm not gonna get an open and honest answer from anyone, and I'll likely just be painted as a s*** stirrer for even asking. |

| Apparently they feel very threatened by the site. I tried posting auditions for my Goldfinger audio drama there but had to delete it because I couldn't get the formatting correcting. And the account for MI6 username (I guess another of JP's?) said: Go ahead, we'll do it for you: And linked it here.
Christ.
I made a big deal about it. Now Andy Lucas is backtracking saying it was the result of accidentally merging threads. BS. |

- How much warning was there about this? Could people not have been warned sooner, instead of being kept in the dark?
Is ever bloody answered, but I won't be posting. And I won't even be announcing my leave. (I never announced when I was leaving before, anyway :-P) |

I generally go through at least two phases. Phase 1 is that my Irish temper explodes and I go apeshit until 7AM calling for war against MI6. Phase 2 is where I think, "Gee, maybe I'm an asshole", and try to be the statesman. I'm still pissed and I think they're treating us like numbers instead of people, though. But it's better to look nice. When it came to MI6, I felt like I came home to find my wife in bed with a group of men all putting their things in different parts of her. I was understandably upset. |

| The thing that I've learned (though not learned how to practice enough) is that we should all behave by the standards we set for ourselves and others. It was fine to question them but when they did answer and were rude, there was no need for me to be rude. I don't like that in myself and have tried to right that wrong - for me and my well-being, not theirs.
I can live with how I've left things but would have been upset with myself today if I'd left it as it was say yesterday morning.
Also, who knows what goes on behind the scenes? They sound stressed. They likely are stressed. My harping on them doesn't help them or me.

| I think I'm looking at it a bit differently than you two are.
Frankly, I don't sympathize with any of them. They've always been a sneaky group, anyway. They've finally dropped the a-bomb, in terms of being sneaky, and completely pulled a fast one behind everybody's back. This time, instead of monitoring PM conversations, they've deleted the whole old site and substituted it with some hideous, kid-friendly mess.
Stressed or not, telling members "if you don't like it, then leave" isn't exactly a great business strategy.
Anyone who's pissed about the assassination of Mi6 Forums has every right to be.
For me, I've just removed most of my posts, as I don't want to be associated with the place anymore. I won't be making any "good-bye" statement, either. Like I've stated previously, I'll only be using it to scope out older members, and then contacting them to move over here. |

But this is bringing me back to the days when I first joined the site because I'm now neglecting my workday. I was doing quite well, I really tried a middle course. But the mod editing my post made me lose it and I made some pretty harsh comments. I'm going to refrain from now on. I made amends with Nick_007, he shot me a PM after I criticized him on here and he made that little guest post. Also, would anybody object to Satorius (I think that was his old name) rejoining. He's a pretty good fellow. He e-mailed me about being pretty upset about the old MI6. Totally up to you guys. I won't be offended. :p |

But this is bringing me back to the days when I first joined the site because I'm now neglecting my workday. Same! I have two papers to write: one for tomorrow and one for Thursday. I've wasted all of yesterday and today posting! |

I sincerely hope that none of you plan to go back to Mi6 regularly, after the way the administration has been treating [long-term] members. Wow. So, that's that, huh? We just don't mean a damn thing, do we? I am actually shocked by James Page comments regarding this situation and the dialogue between himself and you. I would have never expected such talk by James Page, thats to bad that his actions ( through words) have pushed so many people away. |
