Yes, but there is evidence to support that - like the cinematography, and the enthusiasm of the production crew, and the way EON have gone to extraordinary lengths to keep details under wraps. I like to imagine that this last one involves a series of contrived sitcom-esque siutations where Babs, Craig and Mendes have to keep MGW away from the press so he doesn't spoil it all.

Agreed. I mean, she was such a huge star already that I'm not even sure why she came down from heaven and condescended to be a Bond Girl.

Although I am not ruling out Eve as MP, and think it still might be most likely scenario, the problem I have with this character, is the history and baggage from SF, that these two would have to bring along going forward. MP has always longed for romantic attention from Bond. That's the schtick and Bond has always flirted along but no more. How do you revive this dynamic if they have already shagged? Then again its not 100% clear, that Eve and Bond shag in SF, although the scene with the razor, does suggest probably...but still it's not 100%. Trailers can trick.

I'm still allowing that MP might not be officially revealed at end of film. She might be present when Bond visits new office. We might hear her, but her identity might be cloaked. To be revealed in the next film.

Fiennes/Mallory could very well be revealed as new M. That does seem quite likely.

Wait, where is the trailer that contains: "Ronson's down" and all other quotes as "He’s somewhere in the South China sea"??

I would be incredibly surprised if it wasn't the latter.

You know, from what I've seen in the SF trailer, this all comes across as a bit cheesy to me:

* The Q Bond scenes seems corny, too forced and unnatural
* The attack on MI6
*The dialogue: "Mummy was very bad", "not like this, not like him (I really do cringe when I hear this)", "England, the empire, MI6"

Still, most of the Bond films are cheesy I guess.

There are certainly parts of the film that look good too: Bond training up, the casino, the scenes with Feinnes who I am most looking forward to seeing...

I wonder what SIlva is hiding under his wig...hideous scars? Classic Flemingsque Bond villain stuff.

Oh, and if Eve turns out to be Moneypenny, then Eon would have gone waaaay too far! Not a good move at all.

Eve is not Moneypenny. She's a field agent.

Y'gotta admit there'd be a nice circular turn to things if she starts the movie shooting Bond and winds up the movie getting shot&crippled and retired to a desk job as Moneypenny.

That's just a slick screenwriter type move, not necessarily good writing ... but this is John Logan after all.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the SKYFALL dialogue that we've heard so far. And I'm particularly baffled by the reference to "the Empire" - erm, what empire? Isn't this line several decades out of date?

Some of the exchanges do seem very artificial, but I confess I have felt this way about every Bond since TWINE (I assume, perhaps unfairly, it is the P&W effect). However this time around the deliveries also feel a bit off, hopefully it will all work better in proper context.

A bizarre bit of dialogue, but we don't know the full context of the conversation yet. Actually, such lines give me a GoldenEye vibe, as if it's the mid-1990s all over again.

Yes, there could be some GE to SF.

Bardem's delibery of this line is very funny, so I suspect that it's actually been cut down from something else.

Yeah that's a good point. Aside for the cheesy one liners ofcourse, the dialogue in general does seem more natural and tends to flow better in GE and TND than it does in the proceeding films, not that I'm a fan of these Brosnan films. One could be forgiven for pointing the finger at P & W.
