- This film gets a well earned 10 from me. I only watched Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace this week after a friend said I should watch them before seeing Skyfall. I loved Skyfall and wanted to talk to James Bond fans about it and find out what James Bond film I should watch next. My name is Brian, but my avatar name is from my favourite part of Skyfall. If I had known James Bond films used Tennyson I'd have became a fan long before now! What an exciting way to use his words. I need more James Bond though. Which film would be best to watch after Skyfall? Thanks.
Well, I suggest you to watch them in the order they were made. Also, you should really read Fleming's novels because they're very good. |

| Indeed. Does it de-throne CASINO ROYALE for you? |

Yeah, I think so. Mind you, this is only after one viewing. |

| Silva gets a 10...possibly the best thing from Skyfall from me.
But almost everything fell short of my expectations. It badly needed at least one other major action sequence...
Weighted average.... 5/10.

| Having watched it a second time, I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first. Nothing really struck me as being wrong about it as I was totally engaged from beginning to end. I didn't vote on this poll when I first saw it, wanted to save it for second. I was leaning on 9 the first time, but now I think I'm gonna give it a 10. I already considered it top 3 with FRWL and GF (which I give both a 10) so I might as well give it full honors. :) |

| I voted 9. Just because I'm not sure if I want to commit to 10, and it feels like gushing in a way. |

| Have only seen it once and am holding off on any sort of rating/ranking until I get another gander. That said, there's no doubt whatsoever that SF is a classic. It's easily top 10 material and I can understand why some may regarded as the best Bond of them all. |

| I gave it a 6, I am still not in awe of the movie even if it had some good moments. But I guess this movie told me that perhaps DC's version is not my cup of tea, or coffee in Bonds' case. |

Since I'd call SF a cup of mud, maybe tea is the better choice, even if it isn't bringing down the Eon or British Empire. |

I'll keep the 10/10 rating reserved for From Russia with Love. |

| Gave it a 10. Like most others, I wanted to wait for a second viewing before committing to a place in my ranking and a score.
It's definitely a brilliantly crafted film, and very Bondian. But it's just different to the tested Bond formula, and I'm not sure if I can put it passed Quantum of Solace on my ranking yet. Better than Casino though. It's hanging just outside the top 10 for me. |

| I've bumped it up to a solid 3-4 after a 2nd viewing. It holds up much better with a second viewing.8)

| Eight hours after my first viewing, it's threatening my top five. I'm a little uncertain on where, exactly, to place it though.
Right now, my top five look like this (in no particular order):
From Russia With Love, Casino Royale, For Your Eyes Only, The Living Daylights and The World Is Not Enough.
Yes, I'm an unashamed TWINE fan. It was my first real experience of a Bond film, so it always holds a special place for me.
I think the best way to summarise my thoughts on SKYFALL is like this: Skyfall is the kind of film On Her Majesty's Secret Service would have been with Sean Connery as Bond. A very good film with a few flaws that actually make the film endear itself to you on a certain level. |
