I find it hilarious that one member of B&B is the subject matter of an epic thread that is now meandering into 24 pages....
You guys need him for this....
:lol!: The gal has a point. to a point.
what a fun 24 pages it's been. A veritable gas. Great avatar, BTW. |

I agree. I confess I found the decision to bring him back curious, but he doesn't bother me, has never bothered me, and I'm able to look past him. However, it's also undeniable that some people here "need" JWild like Superman needs Lex Luthor or Batman needs The Joker...they are defined by their opponents and their lives would be somewhat less rich if JWild didn't exist. That's not a slam or a criticism, just an observation. I think JWild is like a mouse that the big cats like to play with but not actually devour....or a genital rash that they've tried to get rid of but it resists all form of ointment or penicillin. I may be wrong. I mean, we *DID* ban him, but I suspect that we have a couple of people who are secretly relieved he is back and are essentially closet JWild-lovers (metaphorically speaking). |

Eric Bana is in talks to costar in Lone Survivor, the Peter Berg-directed drama that is being financed by Emmett/Furla Films for a September 25 start in New Mexico. Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch and Ben Foster are already poised to play the other main roles in the drama centered around four Navy SEALs. Universal Pictures, which developed the movie, will distribute. An adaptation of the book by Marcus Luttrell (Wahlberg), Lone Survivor tells the harrowing story of how Luttrell and his Navy SEAL team members fought to stay alive after being ambushed in Afghanistan in 2005 by Taliban forces during a covert mission in the Hindu Kush mountain region, where the team went to kill a terrorist leader. Hey!
I've read that book!
It's a good book! No shit, huh? |

It's a good book! No shit, huh? There must have been nudity either described in the book or with accompanying photographs. I'm not sure JWild would notice his own children if they didn't have the rack of Miss May's Playboy centerfold taped to their forehead. |

Thank you. I think. Nothing to be ashamed about, though. Some of the people having a laugh with him/at him also were part of the group that banned him, so it's not some sort of John Kerry moment where we said we 'We voted against banning you before voting to ban you.' Nah, we all voted for total and complete banishment on the first ballot and that never changed on our end. We're not flip-flopping politicians. We simply got overruled (though I have a feeling that if M hadn't have overturned the banishment, J7 was willing to take this all the way to the Supreme Court). The last time I saw anyone escape a banishment like that was when General Zod, Ursa and Non escaped from their mirrored prison en route to the The Phantom Zone. But having said that...the people who did vote to banish him have the right to engage him as well. He's here, he's clear, get used to it!!!!! |

Maybe someone suggested it for him. Well, I've assumed that some of the conversations in this thread have been leaked back to him one way or another, so it wouldn't surprise me. I haven't responded to one single post of his. Nothing. Zip. Nada. There are a few reasons for that. I suppose one of them may be out of solidarity for the moderators who did want him gone. But maybe the bigger reason is that I find his attitude about being back here somewhat grating and irritating. It's as if the banishment never happened; like Pam Ewing waking up one morning and going into the shower and discovering Bobby was really alive and that all of the previous season was just a dream. That's what being around J7 feels like. It seems like he's perfectly fine pretending nothing ever happened. I don't know whether to be upset or to feel some sadness for the guy; is he so desperate for friends and attention that he's willing to take it wherever he can get it, even from a forum that suspended him and then banned him? Where's the apology or the email of contrition that Aural suggested he write? If he wrote it I neither received it nor heard about anyone else getting it. LIke Rosie Carver, J7's act has begun to wear a bit thin. |

Agreed. On top of that, he continues to add absolutely nothing of value to the forum. It's better off without him ... like it was. |

But on the other hand, just because his attitude is puzzling isn't sufficient to ban him. And if the dossier on JWild that M was given wasn't enough to convince M to keep the exile permanent, then it'll take a whole lot more to get rid of him than being mildly irritated that he hasn't recognized his position in the pecking order. I don't want us to be LOOKING for reasons to get rid of him, and I'm afraid that right now J7Wild is holding all the cards. If we attempt to ban him again so quickly, or if we go to M with complaints about him, we risk looking petty and tyrannical. As Jack Wade said, he doesn't offer much, which is why I never paid much attention to him to begin with. So when people started complaining about J7Wild, I didn't know what they were complaining about because I usually skipped his posts. I had to hear about "Storm Front" from other posters (you'd think I would have heard of Storm Front, being an avowed racist and all). I guess I'm the wrong person to go to with the J7Wild problems. My previous involvement with banning him was mostly to perform an act of humanitarian kindness by offering him a graceful exit from someone who had no personal axe to grind. Basically like putting down a sick cat or dog. I had HOPED he would have learned something from that whole situation, ANYTHING, but alas, the only thing he seems to have learned is how to appeal to someone higher up the chain of command other than dealing with the underlying issues. |

He's mainly a washed-up comedy act around here now. Kind of like John Lovitz or Carrot Top. |
