Why the hell is it still here? It's received its first complaint and M has since logged in. What more do you need? An e-petition?

You'd think j7 was Abu Qatada.

I'll pull the trigger if only to end things.

With immediate effect, j7 has been banned until the year 2017. He's been contacted, and had his ban explained to him, so hopefully this closes the book on the whole j7 debacle.

In the main I was offending Erica Ambler. This is indeed a rare post - only 10% of my posts concern something other than blog promotion, which claims the remaining 90% of my posts. All according to the ever inelegant Erica Ambler:

Not sure what's so wrong with linking blogs, as we always link to various sites anyway. If Ambler is becoming troubling for you, simply put him on ignore. There's no need to leave this site because one person upsets you. We're all Bond fans and I think it's fine to support each other whether its blogs or forums.

Well, maybe I was too harsh there, but I'm still a bit miffed. I thought my blog was of interest to some folks here, but I've heard the message - no more blog mentions or posts. I can claim my own audience, even if I do only have 7 members - I have more readers, at least I have that comfort.

Erica Ambler no longer exists for me - on hidden posts function. Permission to come aboard again, sir?

I can say it is appreciated, though I can see Ambler's frustration to an extent. The irony of a struggling forum trying to invite new members yet turning them away for promoting something of their own doesn't escape me. I don't think our forum can work that way, so I think it's better to help each other out as Bond fans because that would mutually help the reputation of the forum and blog. You've done a good job helping to promote our forum so I think it's fair to link your own blog. That's just my opinion. I hope none of this turns you away for good.

Can you imagine if, like the last ban, he's back the very minute the ban ends.

Looks like the ban was extended to 2028, even then I'm sure he'd immediately post Kelly Brook photos and say Obama Bin Ladin is out to destroy America.

It's likely j7, because JD are the initials of his real name, James Deangelis. Also he has only made private messages, no posts. Once again, I have no idea why he's so desparate to stay here. I sent him a link to DCINB as a place that might welcome him. I know, it's cruel of me.

Poor bastard. It sounds funny but I had no idea he would actually have a real name.

As for us ignoring him. Imagine looking in as a newcomer seeing this chap making idiot posts and us acting as if he weren't there. Don't know who'd look the biggest fool. :)
