| No 'end credits' answers…
1. Bond snooping around Krest's boat. Really dig how ambient it is. Mostly for the music, if I recall correctly.
2. The tanker chase including Sanchez' death Awesome stunt work, excitingly shot and choreographed and when the Bond theme kicks in, you can't help but grin.
3. Dario's death. Has a henchman's death ever been more satisfying in a Bond film? Much credit goes to Del Toro for bringing Dario to life and making us love to hate him in every scene he is in. |

| 1. The 'fishing' scene
This is a a thrilling scene as there is only a 20 minute window to arrest Sanchez. I like the use of the Bond themd and the arrangement of it. It's a race against the clock.
2. The mutilation of Leiter
There is something sadistic in this scene as we see everyone laughing as Leiter gets his leg bitten off, Krest looking disgusted and Killifer looking like he is going to chunder. It showed how Killifer was all talk and i think he realises at this point how out of his depth he is.
3. Dario's death
I concur with Fieldsman on this. It's a gruesome death and it fits dario perfectly. I like how Dario's last word is "SANCHEZ". It shows how strong the bond is between them. |

| 1. The manic intensity of Bond meeting Sanchez and the 'More a problem eliminator' line is terrific stuff.
2. Laying the seeds of mistrust in Sanchez's mind after waking and finding himself a guest in his house and even after it leads the the death of Milton Krest Bond is ready with the 'Only one guy???' to send him even further off balance.
3. Bond destroying the drug shipment and the escape in the plane. |

| 1. The Tanker Chase including Sanchez's death Incredibly exciting and epic action sequence followed by a brutal death that does punctuate one of the darkest Bond films.
2. Dario Takes The Words Right Out of Pam's Mouth Agreeing with both FieldsMan and Bond Fan 90. A gruesome death but fitting for this particular film.
3. The Pre-Titles Sequence It's pretty cheese in parts especially Felix running in slow-motion cut with the two henchman giving up complete with "epic" Michael Kamen score. But it's all part of the charm and the apprehending of the plane was a pretty impressive sequence. |

| 1.) "Compliments of Sharkey" -from Bond's face at seeing Sharkey's body to flying off on the boatplane. The music helps and some good stunts such as Bond water-skiing and getting onto the plane itself.
2) Tanker chase, one of the craftiest scenes in the series. Also how for Sanchez it unravels start to end. Just lost the factory and over the course of the chase he loses everything else -his sheer fury at Bond as he attacks with the machete. Also, for Bond, it's a culmination of his revenge for Felix and Della. The way he goes about things during the chase, to me, is Bond getting to that goal any which way.
3) "Don't you want to know why?"- after all that is done, the pay off. Bond looks beaten, bloodied certainly and for a moment it looks like Sanchez has actually won. Dalton's delivery is good and Sanchez's death perfectly glorious for the film. Cap this off with Bond's bowing of his head to suitably emotive music.
Dario's death is right up there as is Felix's feeding to the sharks, Krest's death and Bond's resignation.
"So, it's a farewell to arms." |

While it's not a particular favourite sequence of mine - it is that impressive that TDKR had to copy it for its film. |

| I might rejig mine.
1) Felix's mauling at the hands of Sanchez. The look in his eyes when he realises perhaps what's about to happen, Davi and the sight of Kilifer by Felix.
2) Bond and Pam in the hotel when he initially confronts her but then realises just what a cock he's made of things.
3) Still, tanker chase.
But to be fair, there's more than three scenes I rate quite highly in LTK. |

I'd change my number one to Bond and Sanchez's chat at his villa, as Bond admits he's a British agent and feeds him misinformation. Classic Bond! And stunning villa, too. And good to see another side to Sanchez's personality shine here. |

| 1. Bond and Sanchez chatting at the villa - vintage Bond and top performances from Dalton and Davi.
2. "He was married once, but that was a long time ago." - Dunno, always liked this bit. Melancholy and ties Dalton Bond to Tracy (because there's no codename, people). Otherwise the wedding ceremony is a bit odd with Della constantly trying to get in Bond's pants.
3. Final payoff with Bond offing Sanchez ("Don't you want to know why?") |

| Yes, do like that villa chat (even past Dalton's 'naassty') And the reference to Tracy. You must hand it to Dalton and even Moore how they manage in a very brief act somehow convey that their Bond's are linked to OHMSS' (Moore in TSWLM with XXX's almost mention). Alright it's not Oscar worthy but somehow both moments are enough. Though it is a touch weird about Della. |

| I like the reference but I think I'd have preferred Bond to be a little more poker faced about it. And yes, not sure Leiter would appreciate Bond and Della kissing as much as they do. |

| Felix does seem cock-a-hoop at the end of the film. The Essential Bond book said he was too chipper for a man who had his wife raped and murdered. I dare suggest Felix was high on some kind of tranquiliser by the end of the film. At least Bond was a proper chap in not going after his best mates woman no matter how much she was pressing him at her own wedding. |

| Undoubtedly. Della did strike me as a wild girl in her day. |
