Ad for the teaser, to be released Wednesday.
As far as the photography goes, it looks sexy.

That masked goon at the end looks like a promising return to the benign bizarre. It does look very sleek... if a little over processed.
And of course, Bond recklessly riding a motorbike over a funeral procession. M should have fed Bond's head to those bastards in CR.

Sad state of affairs when it's a good day to see Bond in his own film trailer.

Pretty sure that's Ana de Armas. I hope that means she gets to be the femme fatale, as Craig never really had one in his run. There was Valenka in CR, but she wasn't a prominent character like Fiona Volpe, Naomi, May Day, or Xenia.

Yep, as BI linked in another thread, two-gun-toting seems to be her thing. But, I'd say she'd have a role as big as Naomi in TSWLM... She may only be in the Cuban portion of the film.

I wouldn't mind a 'Cuban portion' from her, f'narr f'narr.

The trailer just moments away on GMA... Probably just after the news.

- The action looks spectacular and a huge improvement on Spectre's - I still feel it's going to get bogged down in its own self importance. For example... that spotlight on Bond. Eeek. - Setting up Madeleine as a traitor, whether she is or isn't, isn't a good move. - Nomi will definitely be 007. When M says 'where's 007' it will be referring to her, not him. That said, their dynamic might be interesting. - Something wrong with Bond's knee? - Craig still hasn't nailed the Bond, James Bond line. - Humour falls flat again ("Q I've missed you!" and the aforementioned famous introduction) - Is that last shot going to be the gunbarrel, echoing CR's?

It might still be horrible (hard to judge the writing on a two-minute trailer) but I would be lying if I didn't admit that the teaser has increased my excitement about this movie by about 8%.

No doubt, and I think it's the photography, action and music that's raising the excitement levels. But alarm bells are going off from Madeleine's very first line in that trailer, and the excitement wears off from the 'Bond, James Bond' bit.

Hate to say it, but there are so many bad reminders of SPECTRE in this trailer. It sums up the stuff that hasn't worked in the Craig era.
Hope I'm wrong with the film itself.

Count me in for being excited -- this seems to have the energy that the creakier-feeling Spectre lacked. However, I'm also in agreement with those of you voicing some concern over the echoes of the weaker aspects of Craig's tenure (Madeleine betrayal, the godawful "line" delivery, Waltz showing back up to poke at Bond's psychological state).

Well, I'm pretty fucking stoked .
On the 'Bond, James Bond' delivery ... I'm getting a hint of irritation. My guess is the other guy is MI6 front-desk security, and there's a 'I've never heard of you and you're not in the computer system, it's more than my job's worth to let you in' type situation going on.

I agree that the whole betrayal angle is played out and stale by this point.
My one hope is that they use it as a red herring, perhaps more as the fruit of Bond's paranoia, following Vesper's betrayal.
Though I'd still have preferred they omitted such a subplot entirely.

Well, I was mostly tickled by the DBS and that Craig's Bond seems to be the one who's gotten the most use out of the DB5.
It looks intriguing otherwise but the "we all have our secrets" didn't sit...I'll see what we have next year.
